[MoFUN] Why everyone should visit eBelgium

Belgium is a small western European country, it is surrounded by the Netherlands, Germany, Luxembourg and France. Belgium has three official languages:French, Flemish and German.
Belgium is a beautiful country, which was long kept secret. I will reveal you some facts which make Belgium unique.
1. We invented the French Fries! The people near the Meuse, had the habit to fry small fishes, but during winter, the fishes were rare, so the people cut potatoes in form of fishes and fried them.
Unfortunately a lot of people think they are French, the reason is that during World War 1, American soldiers tasted them in Belgium, because the Belgian Army spoke French, the Americans started calling them "French Fries"
2. Belgiam is a well known chocolate producer, the biggest chocolate selling point is Brussels National Airport. 200,000 tonnes of chocolate are produced every year.
3. Do you like waffles? We have a dozen regional varieties. The most famous being the Liege waffle and the Brussels Waffle.
4.Besides its food, the country is known for its Beer, many people from all over the world claim that we hav the best beer in the world. With over 800 different kinds, everyone should be able to find one he likes.
5. The Chinese Wall is not visible from the moon, well the Belgian motorway is, but only during night, because of the light all along the motorway network. A local legend even says that this attracted Aliens. In fact between 1990-92 alot of UFOs were seen in Belgium.
6. Belgium has one of the most beautiful F1 circuits in the world (Spa-Francorchamps), some pilots even say its the most beautiful.
7. One of the fastest car is Belgian, the Gillet Vertigo can accelerate from 0-100 km/h in 3.266 seconds.
8. In 2003, there were 884 registered Belgian comic series. (Tintin, Asterix and Obelix)
9. Several famous carnivals are in Belgium, including Binche, Aalst and Malmedy.
10. Julius Caesar sai😛

1. The source of your fish-story is considered very suspicious and not really reliable, it is more probable that they were invented in France (yeah I know it hurts). Also French is likely to come from the culinary term 'French-fried' (meaning 'deep fried') and was used for onion rings before the fries were invented.
10. Caesar never meant 'bravest', it is a misinterpretation from the Latin word 'fortissimi'. When placed into context it clearly means 'wildest' or 'uncivilized and brutal'. Belgians were the toughest tribes to oppose Caesar, but Caesar also intentionally made them look even tougher and scaring while describing his (superior) army as tiny. That way he would be honored as a courageous hero in Rome should he defeat the Belgians, which he did with not much efforts. I have other fun stories about Belgians but I'm too lazy to write it down right now.

Yeah, a real invasion. Those softies rush themselves to our beer but can't hold more than two pints in their bowels....what a waste.
