Hi kids!
We have a situation that can affect us and as such is a concern.
What's Happened
After Canada was liberated from CODE occupation, Asteria continued into the U.S. to remove undesirables from North America. Following removal of the troublemakers, Asteria set up TWs. Cooperating with the American government, Asteria did their best to make the occupation comfortable as possible.
What's Happening
In case you've not noticed, the United States has upset CODE recently. Seems they fought alongside Asteria forces against Brazil and currently have an imposed TW there as we speak. CODE is displeased with the recent changes in U.S. policy. Currently the United States is being attacked by CODE.

What Can We Do?
Your CP Mann has decided to support our neighbours. The Ministers and Councilors concur. Not only is it in our best interest to have peace next door, it's the right thing to do.
We've had our problems in past years. I personally have fought hard against the same people I now intend to come alongside. Times change, new plans chosen, different ways to do things. I urge you to join us in bringing about a new era.
What's The Future Look Like?
That's completely up to the U.S. Canada looks forward to better relations no matter what alliances are involved. With our long border and the use of AS bombs, past events show that it's in both countries best interest to play nice.

It was so frazzling at the emergency foreign policy meeting today that I lost my owl suit, and it turns out, I'm a squirrel underneath. As Minister of Finance as well. This makes sense. I like to store up cc like a squirrel stores up nuts

About time the USA and Canada work together.
I’m glad we laid the groundwork towards better relations
well, first of all, im happy to learn that e-canada will fight to get its freedom again...
also, i am sad to see that e-USA is leaving CODE for asteria, but i guess that many chaotic things must've happened in the last couple of months, which could explain e-USA's current turn against CODE, and for the support of e-canada's interests and liberation...
i just hope that e-USA will not join asteria.
if they will join their old alliance, ''pacifica'', thats good.
or even if they will join you at orion...
i say this because i dont like how asteria tries to force, to intimidate and to conquer many smaller nations and alliances like they usually do, and until the formation of CODE, they were free to do so without any issues...
anyway, bottom line: regardless of the alliance's politics, i hope that e-canada will be free again, and that e-USA and
e-canada will be good allies once again.

Perhaps there is a misunderstanding. Canada was liberated from CODE occupation this Spring. If you see wars in our regions be assured that they are well coordinated TWs. We've even branched out and are doing a TW with Israel in their regions.
I understand your concern of Asteria's intentions. Let me assure you that Asteria doesn't control Canada or Orion. Rarely have I seen orders in any Orion channels mentioning Asteria countries. Canada's business with Romania & Serbia is just that, business. Mann551 is the number crunching genius, along with chopp dks, our Serb robot mascot, who coordinate with them. Damn thing is pretty much on autopilot nowadays.
When CODE came to squat on our bonus regions it was by request that Asteria came into Canada. They had their own reasons to clear out the U.S.
Canada doesn't want to be involved in America's choice of Allies. We're just tired of peering over the fence to see if trouble is brewing. We'd much prefer to be a good neighbour. For that reason Canada has chosen to cooperate with PotUS Krapis in repelling the attack currently underway.
As far as the U.S. joining Orion, we'd welcome them with open arms. Problem is I'm thinking that would be like putting a swordfish in the guppy tank. 😄 Canada will settle for mutual respect and cooperation.
