Join the new world

After being appointed Ambassador to Portugal to strengthen our relationship with this awesome country, I thought it would be best to do a quick interview with The Minister of Foreign Affairs of Portugal, Sterben4kk.

Me: Could you please tell us about your career in erepublik?

Sterben4kk: I started eRepublik in 2010, and have been in and out of the game. Around 2015, I started envolving myself more and more in the politcs. Eventually, I became member of several governs, including the "Salvation Junta" that was formed after the fall of the Sucateir0 dictatorship. I have been mostly absent from governs in the period from 2016-2017, where I was mostly innactive. In February, I was invited to help in Yoradorc's government, and the following month I was choosen as MoFA, and then choosen again to be the MoFA of Hediondu.

Me: What are Portugal's main goals at the moment? Where do priorities lie with Portugal?

Sterben4kk: At the moment, Portugal's goals are to maintan our freedom and strengh in the world, coordenation with allies and friends. The current SG of Asteria is currently of Portuguese citizenship, a fact for which the Portuguese government is very happy, because we believe it shows that this small community is still important, our main goal. Our priorities are to help ourselves and allies.

Me: How does Portugal feel about Israel as a whole?

Sterben4kk: Ingame? You are going to forgive me, but I think Portugal feels nothing about Israel. We haven't been allies, as far as I remember, nor have we been at war.Our communities are simply separate...

Me: Is there anything you believe Israel could do to strength ties with your country?

Sterben4kk: This embassy is positive in that regard, I must admit.
The 1st step towards an approach is already done, since Israel is within's Asteria sphere, and is an ally of our allies. Therefore I think the most important thing is done. I would say that supporting Portugal in battle when needed is also important, because we remember those who fight alongside us. 🙂

Sterben4kk: אינגאם? אתה הולך לסלוח לי, אבל אני חושב פורטוגל לא מרגיש שום דבר על ישראל. לא היינו בעלי ברית, עד כמה שאני זוכר, וגם לא היינו במלחמה.הקהילות שלנו פשוט נפרדות...
