Congress Elections for December/January

The Government of eBelgium wishes to congratulate our newly elected Congress. It is a privilege and a responsibility to serve your eNation in this way, and it brings both rights and responsibilities. The first responsbility of every newly elected member of Congress is to register in our national forum, where the real business of Congress is conducted. Once you have a citizen mask, you should sign in as a member of Congress. It is also expected that you will donate the gold from your Congress medal to NBB-BNB. This gold is an important part of our national budget, providing such things as the alliances that protect us and give us opportunities to fight and grow stronger on a regular basis and also helps support our military and state companies. If you have not been elected to Congress before, or have not been elected in eBelgium, here is more information that will help you to do the best job you can. You should also familiarize yourself with our constitution, which outlines the legal way we do things.



ATO Effort

We are happy to announce that our effort to avoid PTO in this election, while not perfect, has had some success. Although 2 candidates that were flagged as PTO candidates have been elected, others were blocked, with the help of the removal of some votes by Administrators. We have seen some ways we can improve on such efforts in coming months, and hope all concerned citizens will participate on further discussions on the national forum.



Natural Enemy Vote by eNL

In an apparent effort to block ePoland from reaching eUK, a Natural Enemy law has been proposed against eBelgium by eNL Congress member Tim Veltkamp. We are not happy about this proposal, which was not discussed with us in advance and could mean that our territories would be wiped out before peace can be proposed. The voting on this is not yet complete, however, and we are hopeful it will not pass.



Declaration of War by ePoland

ePoland has chosen to declare war against eBelgium for the stated purpose of using Wallonia to gain access to eFrance, after which we can make a peace treaty with them. They have told us that Wallonia will then be returned to us by means of a resistance war. More details will be available on the national forum, and we ask you to join in the debate. The next few days will present us with great challenges, but also great opportunities. Together, we will come through it stronger!
