[Elecciones al congreso] El gobierno pierde respaldo popular

Como todos sabrán el día de ayer se celebraron las elecciones al congreso, ese momento del mes donde los slogans de campaña aparecen en el feed de amigos (aunque no así en el feed del país). Como tengo tiempo libre he decidido hacer un análisis de estas elecciones.



1- Partido Comunista de Cuba: El Partido Comunista repite como el partido más votado en nuestra isla y si bien obtienen la victoria en la elección es una victoria totalmente pírrica. El paso de un 30% a un 26% o lo que es lo mismo la pérdida de cinco apoyos es algo que tendrán que analizar en la directiva de ese partido.

2- Barbudos: Un debut inmejorable para los de Nikola Tesla, un partido que si bien fue fundado hace solo diez días agrupa muchas caras conocidas de la isla ha logrado un segundo lugar empatado con sus aliados de Alternativa Cubana. Además fueron el partido que más gente logró convocar en función de sus afiliados. Sin duda se espera mucho de este partido para los próximos meses.

3- Alternativa Cubana: Mantienen más o menos su caudal de votos de las elecciones pasadas y logran estabilizarse como una de las tres mayores fuerzas políticas de cuba, sin duda el partido de Carlos R. Guzman ha demostrado como hacer las cosas desde la derecha cubana.

4- Partit Paisos Catalans: También una caída notable de tres puntos porcentuales o cuatro votos lo que equivale más o menos a un congresista es un duro golpe para los independentistas Catalanes que deberán replantearse que hicieron mal durante el último mes.

5- Partido de la Liberación: Sin duda los de Janty no han tenido una gran elección, perdieron varios de sus votantes y cayeron desde el tercer puesto a un último lugar. Janty y los suyos deberán replantearse todo lo hecho en el último mes y como recuperar un partido que ha dado grandes presidentes a Cuba.


Analizando las elecciones como un global es evidente la caída del apoyo dentro del oficialismo, que ha pasado de tener el 49% de los votos en las pasadas elecciones parlamentarias a tener tan solo el 41%. La coalición opositora por otro lado ha pasado de un 43% a superar ampliamente al oficialismo con un 57% del apoyo de los cubanos. Sin duda el gobernar no le ha sentado bien a la coalición PCC-PPC que luego de 17 meses de oposición habían logrado un crecimiento que se vió golpeado por varios malos movimientos del gobierno de Astaroth.

As everyone will know, yesterday was the congressional elections, that time of the month where campaign slogans appear in the feed of friends (but not so in the country's feed). As I have free time I decided to do an analysis of these elections.

1- Communist Party of Cuba: The Communist Party repeats itself as the most voted party in our island and although they obtain the victory in the election is a totally Pyrrhic victory. The change from 30% to 26% or what is the same the loss of five supports is something that will have to analyze in the leadership of that party.

2- Barbudos: An unbeatable debut for those of Nikola Tesla, a party that was founded just ten days ago but many familiar faces of the island has achieved a second place tied with its allies of Alternative Cubana. In addition they were the party that more people managed to summon in function of its affiliates. No doubt a lot is expected of this match for the coming months.

3 - Cuban Alternative: They maintain more or less their vote flow of the past elections and manage to stabilize as one of the three major political forces of Cuba, certainly the party of Carlos R. Guzman has demonstrated how to do things from the Cuban right .

4- Partit Paisos Catalans: Also a notable fall of three percentage points or four votes which is more or less equivalent to a congressman is a blow to Catalan independence who will have to rethink that they did badly during the last month.

5- Liberation Party: No doubt the Janty have not had a great election, lost several of their voters and fell from third place to a last place. Janty and his people must rethink everything done in the last month and how to recover a party that has given great presidents to Cuba.


Analyzing the elections as a global is evident the fall of support within the ruling, which has gone from having 49% of the votes in the last parliamentary elections to have only 41%. The opposition coalition, on the other hand, has gone from 43% to overthrowing officialdom with 57% of Cubans' support. No doubt the ruling did not sit well with the PCC-PPC coalition that after 17 months of opposition had achieved growth that was hit by several bad movements of the government of Astaroth.
