Join the new world

It's all everyone is talking about lately.

Last time resource wars came around, we ended up in a relatively enviable position. We were able to acquire all of the most rare resources, Granite, Rubber, Deer, Neodymium. We were able to ensure an 85% food bonus, 90% house and weapons bonus within our own borders. It was with thanks to friends and the cunning work of our President at the time, Exalted Druid, which led us to that situation.

Our resources are a large part of our success as a country. We are a player at some of the world's diplomatic meetings because of our resources. While we don't have the strength that we used to back in the day, we had the resources to provide an edge to those whose side we were on.

Our resources have proven to be useful in encouraging people to locate their factories within our borders, providing us with tax income. We have been able to rent out resources to other countries, which has helped to shore up our treasury, and has allowed us to run programs such as WestJet Rewards, Canadian Personal Development Grant, and many others.

That's where we are coming from.

Now Resource Wars III is upon us. We know with certainty that we will not end up as well off as we are walking into these wars. With a maximum of 10 resources to plant among our entire country, it is not possible to acquire more than 2 industries with 100% bonus. Know that your country cabinet and your newly elected congress are in discussions about how best to strategize. Which regions should receive bonuses. What bonuses should we aim for.

It is also important for you to fight hard for us. Not only for your country as a whole, but also for yourself. With regards to fighting for your country, we will need precision and following orders on a minute by minute basis. If we win too many points at the wrong time, we could end up with nothing. Don't earn them fast enough, we could walk away with nothing. You'll want to make sure you are contributing over the course of the month. The more you contribute, the more tokens you will receive to move your companies to new regions once this entire thing ends on November 7th.

While we walk into this event knowing we will not come out as well off as we walk in, we know that we can come out strong and united, as a team. We can ensure we come out as one of the stronger countries still, but we must work together. And we need each and every one of you involved.

I will not be your CP for the event. But you will see me on the battlefield, fighting for our country. Dying for our country.
