Who will be the next top 5 parties?
moomoohead
There are 5 parties in eIreland in the upper division (top 5 parties) and 5 in the lower division. The status quo has remained the same for the last couple of months. But in the next month some parties could get relegated and some promoted. ePaddy Powers recently put the following odds on the parties changes.
Odds of one of the top 5 parties going down in next month
Irish Freedom Party -143 members 1000/1 odds Dylan communist threat in the past, lol.
Irish Union Party - 130 members 700/1 odds A party that promotes pantless will survey
Salorise - 77 memebers 3/1 odds They are falling quick, Biffo come back.
Irish Social Democrats - 64 members 5/4 odds Does labour become the new ISD.
Independent voices - 60 members 1/4 odds Members recently seen diging up Digits.
Odds of one of the bottom 5 parties being promoted in next 5 months
The Labour Party - 55 members 25/1 odds Question of not if but when.
Eire Aontaithe - 40 members 3/1 odds How many friends do they have?
Irish Rugby Party - 11 members 1/500 odds If we beat France would of got better odds
Clann na nGael - 8 members 1/500 odds Got to love Dans energy but a long climb.
Progress through peace - 6 members 1/1000 odds The name dooms them right after NI war.
Place your bets predict the future.

I am quite relaxed with Party "Recruitment", I would rather have one active (non-multi) than a cord of drift wood.
Eire Aontaithe are showing a lot of promise
Labour ABÚ
I would be very suprised if ISD members drifted en masse to Labour (altho I see Kiemar has) since BB practically destroyed ISD with his previous antics..... from which they've never recovered fully.
Having said that I'd happily take labour at 25/1 to enter top 5 🙂
Labour will be in the top 5 very very soon...
Allow me to make this absolutely clear.
Not only will Labour not replace ISD, but Labour has no wish to usurp ISD. There is room in the Irish political system for a centre-left and far-left party.
On the other hand, there isn't room for two large centre-right parties...
For Labour, do you mean 1/25?
Actually Brian there is only one certre right party in Ireland ...IUP is centre ...and everything else is left wing.
Dylan, let's not rely on what the party descriptions say, the IUP is centre-right conservative party, slightly left of the IFP.
Okay so I guess by not relying on the party description of ISD I'll label it as right wing...
Both the IUP and the IFP have centre-right economic policy, you're both centre-right.
ISD has centre-left economics, it's centre-left.
Until erep gives us more description options for parties, what we have isn't to be relied on. Parties ideology is represented by what it's members and PP do in the Dail. I've always seen Labour and ISD on the left, IUP in the centre, and IFP slightly to the right.
Also I certainly don't see ISD as rivals to Labour, much more as allies of the left.
Nice article Moomoohead 🙂
Now how does one put a bet on with ePaddy Powers 😛
i want to bet 1000 for IFP going down, unfortunately there's just 40iep in my wallet now 😃
I think Éire Aontaithe will be in the top five soon. The members were extremely friendly, and helpful. Within a day of my becoming an Irish citizen, they messaged me.
Nice, moo! ♥
♥♥♥ IUP ♥♥♥
GO Eire Aontaithe!
Saoirse Rogha!
LOL... well, the compliment is certainly appreciated Moo, but we at E.I. have quite a bit of work to do before such a thing can be contemplated cause more friends do not equate to an organized unit.
Growing too fast without a decent infrastructure will just doom us.
Again though, thanks for including us.
"The Labour Party - 55 members 25/1 odds Question of not if but when"
Well said seeing how Labour's now in the Top 5 😃
Genius Moo, i like it.
