What's going on?
Redi Jodikku
To start my newspaper I would like to talk about something that has been in our dutch mouths for quite a long time. The opinions expressed here doesn't represent anything else but my own opinion.
A few months ago we debated and voted about the possibility of joining Nebula, we even did a referendum (that can be found on the forum) where most part of the people voted yes (29 yes - 19 no).
We didn’t decide to do this referendum because we felt like doing it, but because some prominent members of the alliance and the HQ approached us to do so, so it could be thought that the alliance wanted us to join. It looked like an easy process. But it did not end up that easily.
The fact is that the referendum took place nearly two months ago, and the debate on the topic even more time ago (about one week before). So, the current situation is that we’ve been waiting for almost two months (as far as i know we formally asked for it when the referendum finished).
In two months there has been, at least, two different HQ, so, what happened? Is it normal than a formal procedure lasts for two months before they take a decision?
No, it’s not, in a normal procedure that will just need a couple of days, to debate and one day to vote, in some alliance that’s not even needed, just one day to vote, and then the decision is taken.
The only conclusion I can take is that something went wrong during this two months, but, as i’ve not been in their HQ, nor in their MassPM I can’t be sure about it, so I’ve decided to ask some people who had been in it lately, and see their point of view.
But I’ve faced something quite unexpected, they didn’t want to talk with me about it, all of them told me that there’s a law where they can’t discuss anything from the charter outside it, so, so sorry people, but I can’t inform you more on that subject. Take your own conclusions.
Note that this is not an official statement nor something similar, me as MoD or gov member will always follow people’s and CP orders, this is just an opinion and something for you to think about in these hot days.
As always, thanks for your time and I hope you enjoyed it or at least found it interesting.

Pffffffff and this we want to join??????
Maybe you didn't ask them, because I am at their channels and some mass mps. It's weird that we idle at the same Irc channels and you didn't ask me anything, Looks like that you don't like nebula and you are throwing shit to them, but ok, up to you 🙂
I could show you 4 different PMs asking them what's going on 😉
If you were in some of the Mass PMs, I'm sure you've seen the derogatory remarks made about us by some of your esteemed colleagues in Nebula. It's more like Nebula doesn't like us and that is strange, considering they need(ed) us as much as we need(ed) them 😉
> Pics or didn't happen, the only complain about eNetherlands was that they didn't jump the gun for being a full member and they were only asking for damage.
>Considering they need(ed) us as much as we need(ed) them. You made my day with that comments, thank you 😘
Your last statement is exactly what is wrong with Nebula at the moment and will bring it down if prolonged. Some are just too ignorant to see that. In what rationale can one act like Nebula is anything more than NL (arguably as strong as the strongest nations in Nebula) and why can't some Nebula be appreciative of NL, as much as we'd have been appreciative of Nebula?
Of course, I think some other trivial matters are obviously far more ''pressing'' than progressing your alliance instead of (group of) individuals. 😉
Not necessarily stating you are to blame for anything, tho. 😘
Nice, repeat the lie 998 more times and will turn into an universal truth. Well time for going to the beach. 😉
noobula is a joke.
With friends like that, who needs enemies?
Did Spain take over Australia or something?
Spain did nothing, a military unit took over Australia for a while a few time ago, but the things are way more complicated atm, you should ask them if you want to know more about it.
Sounds like they're too bureaucratic to communicate with intelligently.
Wouldn't want to trigger another referendum or a debate on the proper interpretation of Article 914 paragraph 22 of their charter.
this is much better than tonies article. less official sounding.
there are problems in nebula and some are ignorant sure but congress hasnt decided on anything yet.
Perhaps Congress should get a grip on reality. By the way, consensus has already turned into definite disapproval of Nebula. We did research the possibility to join Nebula and it didn't work out. That's the end of the story. You're free to make a vote in Congress to confirm that, though, instead of making some bizarre point? (Especially considering you were the most vocal opponent of Nebula).
