In this situation I would have to tell my cabinet at least. Tell them the exact reason.. As for Congress I would do the same and tell them on how my family is sick and RL comes first for one week that I should be 2 clicking to click buttons but my Vice Pres will be in charge for those weeks. If they feel that it is too bad for Canada and that I need to be impeached (well a resignation then I will talk quickly to my best advisors.
I would not tell the citizens any certain issues as I don’t believe that they need to know my family is sick, I would just tell them RL issues. I would create an article for them once the Cabinet and Congress agree what should happen. E.g. I resign and place it to 2nd in last election or VP does everything and I click buttons (I give them my number if something needs to happen quick, which I could log on via my blackberry.
With the occupation of the UK at this currant time the Pres of Ireland and France would need to been informed as well, which I would tell them when I tell Congress, since I don’t want to be impeached over disappearing as it would weaken us and let UK come back on map. But since my VP I hope will still be in charge I don’t think UK will be a problem.
Eden would just need to tell that my time is limited and that all issues are to be sent to my VP or whoever my cabinet agree should be in charge for that time. and for my just to be included in any talks or just give a view of what happened.
