To Whom it May Concern
Wilker Nath
I told a decent collection of people this back when I first found out during WTP's congress primary, but I still see people aren't aware, so I figure I'll put it out here for more ease of information.
MMing is no longer a mechanic that is supported by Plato. They consider it spamming, even if used as part of a government function. Testing by various players has revealed that Platinum and Diamond buyers are the only ones who can reliably do it.
To all others, there is a spam filter that will kick in after a certain number of similar messages, or messages sent within a certain period of time, or both. I'm not aware exactly how that formula works.
It will appear like the messages have all sent, but when you ask the receivers, they will not have received anything. Looks like they purposely wanted people to not know about this, so they would get fewer complaints about it.
Group mails seem to be the best option to get around this so far.
Anyway, I'll let Plato's own words speak for themselves.

Good effort in the face of unhelpful bureaucracy.
Also, PERTAMAXXX.
Did they indicate what the triggers are for their filters?
We should at least be told how much time we need to wait between sends!
that would require them admitting that there's different triggers for different customer loyalty levels
Well... it won't be admitted as its one filter, loyalty level has absolutely nothing to do with the trigger.
Well, it's like giving out the guide on how to make multies, how to not get banned or what system are in place for detection 🙂
Gucio, I 100% respect the thinking behind the filters. I'm willing to assume that they will be left in place.
Let's try to work on a solution so that game-relevant messages are able to be sent in a reasonable way.
For instance, I submit my message to Plato, along with my mailing list. Plato approves the message and my messages go through. If Plato disapproves my message because it is not deemed to be game-related, it is blocked.
Surely Admin can understand that in a social strategy game, there are justified reasons to send out personal messages en masse.
I'm thinking I'll trying sending mails to groups on 10 people each when I MM for votes in the PP election
Realistically the filters were put in place as people were registering and spamming with external advertising to other games, products, services, so there was a bit of an issue there...
I do see whether you're coming from from sending message pov, I guess the challenge here is there are number of other alternative ways citizens/society can be reached. Some may be less ideal, some may be more ideal all depends on the circumstances. Bearing in this mind, justifying removing the filters or adding some workarounds might not be the simplest thing...
We all definitely want what you've said Admin wants. I despise message invitations to other games. And yes, there are other methodologies of communication.
Nothing will ever beat getting a personal message though, in terms of effectiveness. It's the only way this game gives me that ensures my message gets delivered.
This is why SEES Blocs were superior. Y'all need to organize chain mail.
Actually a mail tree, or something like it, is a pretty good idea for any messages that are going out on a semi regular basis at least.
That group whose only function was to e-terrorize the rest of the e-USA by ptoing other parties?
I think rainy was trying to be productive and helpful with her suggestion. The idea is a very good one. Given the shrunken state of our community, we would do well to let bygones be bygones.
I get it is a social strategy game, but if you are everyone’s friend what have you achieved? Quite possibly the state the game is in now. If I want to use the petty argument, has the community forgiven Ajax, because he never pto anything of mine but Sees did ...
what does that have to do with using a tested technique effectively?
Hello George, long time no see, sadly not long enough...

I guess I'm hopeless, I try to treat everyone cordially with the intent of becoming friends. Until they prove to be jerks. 😁
Publishing Tickets = Not good with admins 😛
Whigs 🤮
I know I'm pissing in the fan, but...

Also don't know if other messaging services offer private chats but telegram does.
I recently received this:
Dear Diamond Customer,
We are sorry to hear you are dissatisfied with updates to War Page. As explained in response to your ticket you may go f#@% yourself. Please look in your Storage where 5 gallons of water based lube has been provided for your use.
Have a nice day ahead!
Your eRepublik team
We all have our crosses to bear.
I am very pleased with the new war page. Just saying.
To each his own.
5 gallons of lube provided? And people say Plato doesn't care.
Yeah, I know. He's always "treated" me right. ♟
pants = penis prison!

Different levels for different costumers, not surprising. Plato is Plato.
As long as people try to discuss with Plato there is little chance for needed improvements. When people stop, there is no chance. Well done! o7
I am surprised this article hasn't been removed. Openly complaining about Plato and his team use to earn the deletion of the article and a forfeit point. Spam filters came about after a certain party complained that another party having a 'Membership Campaign and Donation Drive' grabbed the #1 spot using spam Mass Mailing.
Good info
How do you do MMing? You can answer mi privately if you want.
