Time for a New Commonwealth?

Fellow eIreland citizens,

We are currently undergoing one of the darkest periods in our glorious country's history, and with Resource Wars coming up, our future looks rather bleak. Now, I have not been an active member of the eIreland community. I used to be an eUS citizen, and I remember I moved to Ireland before quitting the game, as a tribute to my favourite book, Ulysses. Years later, I come back thanks to the boredom of lockdown, and it saddens me deeply to see our country being bullied by much stronger nations left and right.

I commend everything King Trito Fisher has done for our country, and to be fair, we could not have done much better without accepting defeat and changing principles on some level, but unfortunately, things have happened that we had not anticipated, and we have ended up wiped, and ranked 71 out of 74 countries.

Granted, I am not entirely aware of the history and what has happened between eIreland and other nations, and I realise the natural opposition any Irishman or Irishwoman might rightfully feel at the prospect of forming an alliance under the name of Commonwealth, but if we put aside our prejudices and look at the realities of the New World, we might come to like the idea of such an alliance, be it under a different name.

By forming an alliance with countries like the UK, NZ, Australia, Nigeria, SA, India, Singapore, Pakistan, and perhaps possibly Canada (they're with Orion atm) we can not only have a better support in our battles and reclaim our land, but also take part in an alliance, that if formed, could prove to be quite a strong force in breaking the CODE/Asteria binary, which I am personally sick of seeing. It would also be quite beneficial for many of those nations, as I do not think any of those nations are in a great and strong alliance/friendship, nor doing quite that great atm.

I am merely suggesting an idea that I see a possibility for it to be working, and would help our country massively, in and after Resource Wars. I know that forming such an alliance might not be realistically possible in such a short time, but then again, why not give it a shot? Please leave me comments on what you think about it, and if you think this is a naive idea, please proceed to clarify things for me, as I am struggling to think of a scenario where our beloved eIreland will flourish again any time soon.
