Tide of Battle

Throughout the theater of campaigns between Asteria and its allies Hydra & Orion against CODE and its friends Andes. There has been wins and defeats for both sides. Tide of battle has changed several directions.



Iberia & Cuba
It was during this time, both alliances engaged in the battlefield in the Iberian Peninsula and Cuba. Alongside Asteria, Netherlands aided by landing in Southern Spain but sadly the strong force of Montenegro easily won including the VISA nation of Thailand eliminating Netherlands out of Iberia. Simultaneously Pro Asteria had face key losses including Cuba being bullied into a unfair pact with Turkey.

Result:
Victory for CODE, peace treaty between Turkey and Cuba, expulsion of Netherlands from Iberian Peninsula. See Present situation section.



Iran
Another area of hot contested battles was Iran. A key partner alongside with Portugal for resource concessions. Alike Portugal and Spain, Iran has been a member of the Pro Asteria alignment and being a member of Asteria. Alike Iberian campaign Netherlands had been present to defend its economic interests. However, it came at a time of contested battles which w as fought but a side came on top.

Result:
Victory for CODE, Iran wiped off the map, Netherlands expelled and loss of resource concessions. See Present situation section.



Balkans and Italy
The most fiercest of all battles has ended up in the Balkan region. This is where the real tide of battle changed hands between the opposing alliances. At the start of disarray for the Asteria camp, several losses had affected the region and with dominance of CODE. However, it can be said that such dominance and overstretched victories has costed them dearly. After inflicting several losses, Asteria and allies had managed to turn the tides of battle around which pushed CODE out of their borders including external such as Iran and the Iberian Peninsula but furthermore went on the attack which caused severe losses for CODE. In an attempt to flee from the Balkans to a CODE controlled TW train, Bosnia fled to South Africa however this was short lived. Netherlands once again involved themselves in battle with a real war. The Balkan campaign spilled externally too with an Irish failed AS on Netherlands in result of Bosnians being wiped from the map. The theater of Balkans remains to this date.

Result:
Initial wins for CODE however, reversed by Asteria wins. Netherlands successfully wipes Bosnia & Herzegovina and defend against Ireland. Asteria recovery and domination. Continued.



Africa & Asia
In the lesser extent of the war, Africa and Asia had been farming grounds for training wars stretching from the southern tip of Africa to the River Nile, Middle East to the Far East. South Africa and Egypt has been traditional breeding grounds for CODE. Recently in joint operations Asteria allied has started a TW involving Macedonia, Netherlands and Bulgaria. India has been hotly contested as it was previous taken over by CODE. Asteria allied forces expelled CODE to reestablish control. Following China's departure from Asteria, China became a TW ground for CODE but alike India and Egypt, CODE has been ousted to establish control by Asteria.

Result:
Expulsion of CODE from India and China and disruptions of their TWs, reestablished control by Asteria in India, China and creation of a Pro Asteria TW in Egypt.

Present situation:
Portugal, Spain and Iran have all recovered from CODE invasions. CODE is continuous suffering defeats at the hands of Pro Asteria and with the latest attempt to Airstrike Israel. As mentioned by the Asteria camp #Darkness. Netherlands has achieved its greatest state in terms of relations and reputation which includes support given by Hydra and Asteria alongside her alliance of Orion.
