They Must Defend Their Island
Desertfalcon
Canberra, Australia- “I need a weapon, any kind of weapon” said zaney. The words of a desperate Australian solider fighting to hold on to the last pieces of ground his country controls. If nothing drastic happens within the next thirty hours Australia will be added to the list of dead countries. Ever since the release of the war module nations have over run weaker neighboring nations. So far four nations have been taken off the map, Belgium, Israel, Slovakia, and Moldova.
The world saw the U.S. invasion of Canada as imperialistic and something that needed to be stopped while not one of those extinct nations received foreign support all though Belgium gave up its independence without a fight. The truth for these smaller nations is that Canada can hold out with the 250% bonus they can fight a defensive war, The smaller nations needed more help then Canada yet they were ignored and left to die off.
Australia is on the same boat that these other nations were. With only three territories remaining and two in jeopardy of being conquered tonight Australia's days are numbered, that number is one. If Australia does not make a defensive stop they will be eliminated and be the fifth nation to fall. A miracle is not likely to occur tonight as the Indonesians have 78 soldiers in both Australian regions, waiting to conquer them entirely in six hours.
The most alarming thing for the Australians who want to win is the fact that their armies are beaten down. So far today only three, yes three soldiers where able to fight from Australia with no soldiers coming from the two nations who had a mutual protection pact with Indonesia which were South Africa and Hungary at all. In the first battle the Australians made a defensive stand in Queensland fighting 289 fights, they lost the battle but they showed the determination to defend their island. Today however Victoria may be handed over without a single fight taking place as this Australian army has really taken a beating.
Their situation is dim but if they can rally the support they may be able to make a much needed defensive stop tomorrow at the battle of Tasmania, the smaller island off the southern coast of the mainland Australia. They will need to find a way to rally at least fifty soldiers to fight for them and they should be able to repel the invasion, at least from Tasmania. The problem here is that Australia's coffers are run dry, they have no way of hiring mercenaries nor do they have a president who can step up and take charge in these dark times. Is their hope for the first defensive stop by a nation on the brink? Yes, is it a likely development? No.

What is eUSA\'s official position on the AU struggle?
Double standard anyone ? Everyone is hating on the US just like in real life
@Dugonia: Don\'t bring real-life relations to erepbulik. We already do it too much jokingly as it is.
The eUS-eCanada war certainly didn\'t help in aiding those countries in need.
P.S. eUS still holds Manitoba.
P.S.S. AUSTRALIA IS ITS OWN CONTINENT!
I believe the UK sent the Paratroopers to Australia. Unfortunately the Defensive bonus screwed up. I would personally want to help Australia but am in no real position to offer aid myself.
Glad to see you condemn the attack on Australia. The imperialistic attacks for the sake of it must be stopped by... oh, wait.
USA/ Canada is alot more balanced then Indonesia/ Australia
UsA-Canada was about a 2:1.2 ratio the Indonesia-Australia war is more like 10 to 1
I\'d go if funding was provided!
If it wasn\'t for eUSA vs. eCanada i would help out the Australians personally. I guess they\'ll get to test the fight for freedom module? Hopefully some of them manage to migrate.
another good article Desert
UK sent the paratroopers, but they have suffered a bug with weapons (after buying one, the number becomes negative).
if i didnt have 20 wellness that doesnt rise i\'d help 😕
