The shadow of the A.I.M.

Switzerland,
If you are reading this as an A.I.M. member, you represent the remaining members of one of the most prestigious parties in Switzerland. Founded by Rican years ago, the Anti-Imperialist movement has striven to combat imperialism for ages. I will be your party leader once again, and I am glad to have the position. When I joined this party, it was thriving, in a smaller but vibrant community of Swiss people. Now, I look at the few remaining faces, and all I see are ghosts, remnants of the past glory of the A.I.M.. The logo I created still stands on the party screen, but it does not represent the same group of individuals. eRepublik has been dying for years, and in no place is it more evident than our small alpine country. I ask you all to remain active, instead of continuing to slowly slip into the deep dark void some of us call "RL life". If you are tired and need to rest your weary bones, you may. But please, do so with dignity. I want to see an active party, an active country. With the lack of regions, Switzerland has been strangled as a baby by a python, choked and squeezed until there is no remaining breath left to be taken.
In contrast to the SLP, I refuse to give in to the strong tug of history. I am proud of our history, and I know we can do more together. We have been shaping the government with great effect for a long time, and we shall continue to do so.
To the sheep lost in the sea of meaningless Swiss political parties, I urge you to join the AIM. We are the ones who shape policy. We are the ones with history. We are the oldest party with real membership at this moment in time. AIM has sponsored and elected more presidents in the entire past year than all other parties combined. Multiple active parties strengthen our country, but the AIM is the most powerful for these reasons.
Can you make a difference? I sure hope so. I know I will try. Join the AIM and make it special once again.
Your leader,

Very, very well said Troggy.
"I urge you to join the AIM. We are the ones who shape policy. We are the ones with history. We are the oldest party with real membership"
Aim is the strongest because we have the best people.

Actually, Switzerland always has, is and always will be shit, it has nothing to be proud of, it has never had anything to be proud of and it (with people like you in charge) will never have anything to be proud of.
The lads over in the SFP are actually contributing with innovative ideals, activity, respect and organization, you should try their approach rather than going backwards with the approach you seem so keen on taking. Clearly it has failed, it will continue to fail for as long as you pursue the same approach.
Get real and wake up mate.
What a relief that you are from an oh so glorious country, that fights only against much weaker enemies and even then calls other allied countries to help out with even more damage. Your attitude is disgraceful, your false sense of superiority is pathetic and your disrespectful name-calling only illustrates the fact, that the most primitive individuals can be found in the most advanced societies and that stupidity doesn't care about nationalities borders or cultures.
Britain hasn't won a war on it's own since 1468 A.D.
Like us in erep days. Sometimes the truth hurts uh
I'm so sorry, the nurse fell asleep and he escaped from his room. Don't worry, he's not dangerous, he sometimes thinks he's a prophet or a historical warlord. Just ignore him.
When the fuck did you guys start commenting on Swiss media
I always thought the Theocrats were p great.

While I'm completely uninterested in party politics I do believe that Switzerland needs strong leadership. Party politics has, is and will always be the place where that leadership comes from. Speaking from my experience in the eUS, the party level is where training happens. Without instruction for new players there is chaos. Party level is where accountability is had. If leaders are not accountable and rogue shit happens don't expect any different. NEVER simply say "So and so is a great guy, a fun person, we should elect him!". Put this "So and so" to the test. Is he responsible? Is he trustworthy? Does he do what he says? If this joker can't do simple party level tasks I doubt he will be worthy of leadership positions.
But never mind me. I've wore out my days at playing party politics.
"We are the ones who shape policy ... . AIM has sponsored and elected more presidents in the entire past year than all other parties combined."
Everything I strive to change 😃 AIM leadership have done some great things in the past half-year like not ever having a congress, running out of money constantly and relying on donation, no successful agreement with Slovenia.... what a glorious party to join 🙂
Also to respond to this:
"In contrast to the SLP, I refuse to give in to the strong tug of history. I am proud of our history, and I know we can do more together. "
To me this is like comparing two different things; SLP history is all people that are no longer playing, AIM is many people that founded the party.
PPP is brand new and if you are in the "sea of meaningless Swiss political parties" (which despite semi-popular belief does not just exclude the AIM), take a look because you can help determine what we mean to the country 😉
dear remi.....
recently you wrote an article for your ppp party.
i just looked and didn't see anybody dissing you.
you should be totally ashamed of yourself.
😕
Sorry for the sassy way I put it; "what a glorious party to join 🙂" was inappropriate and I apologize but the stuff before that is all fact and still applies.
If there's anything else of concern, I'm sorry you feel that way; but disagreements are the fuel of politics and politics are soooo boring in Switzerland most of the time ;P
I always enjoy your articles Troggy!
