The Northern War: Day 1

Day 140, 17:09 Published in USA USA by Desertfalcon

Today was a shocking day in the world as an event that few saw coming unfolded. No doubt Pakistan would enter a war with the release of the war module but few saw North America as a big battlefield. At 7:15 ERST this morning U.S. President Nave Saikiliah issued a declaration of war against Canada which is currently awaiting ratification by congress. The ratification of this declaration is imminent with already nineteen congressmen voting yay and only four nay sayers. With thirty-eight congressmen only one more yay vote is necessary for a guaranteed majority.

As I stated in my article about Canada a few days ago, Canada will have a major uphill battle to fight. The U.S. has a back door into the Canadian north with Alaska and will easily be able to take the western half of Canada although with the defensive bonus given out Ontario and the other populated eastern regions may be a hard nut to crack.

Canada had to of been taken by surprise, this random act of aggression appeared to have been under construction for a month. This gives the U.S. a huge edge, With a well planed method of execution and just the resources to fight this war, Canada can best hope that they either strike a powerful ally soon or that Ottawa does not fall. They are certainly paying the price for their weak leadership and not using diplomacy as an aid.

I would type more but I have already written an article on this a few days ago which is still relevant to today's discussion. This will be my last report from Lincoln,Nebraska as I will soon go off to fight on the front lines and will try and keep everyone updated on this as the battles unfold. I realize that I may have a bias towards my home country and I will try my best to keep that bias to a minimum as I report. I would like to finish by saying it is vital that we remember this is only a game and that no one will be killed or have to witness the atrocities of war.
