As of today, Lotto Cymru has opened for business. It is an organization dedicated to raising money for the betterment of eWales.

This lottery will be giving out gold, not GBP, therefore, the jackpots will be much higher (but then again, so will the cost of tickets), than the lottery for East Midlands.

For this lottery, the rules are simple, donate 0.1 Gold to Lotto Cymru, and send it an email stating the 3 numbers from 1 to 20 that you think will win the jackpot. The same number may be used more than once.

Every Saturday morning, starting with September 12, the winning numbers will be posted in this newspaper, as well as on the eUK forums. The winning numbers will be decided by the rolling of a 20 sided die three times (which is why the number may be used more than once).

Every ticket you buy will give you one set of numbers to choose.

Monies raised through this lottery will be given out as follows:
50% to the winner(s)
40% will go to the Welsh Regional Council
10% will go to celtgaerfelddafydd as an adminnistration fee for the running of this lottery. (Yes, I am doing this to raise some money for myself as well as helping out Wales)

As the administrator of the organization and the Lottery, celtgaerfelddafydd is totally inelligible from winning this lottery, he is forbidden from buying tickets.

The chances of winning the jackpot are 1 in 8000, so do not be alarmed if no one wins the jackpot for a while. If no one wins the jackpot in a given week, it will carry on to the next week. If more than one person buys a winning ticket, the jackpot will be divided evenly amongst the winners.
