Join the new world

Well, another month has come and gone, and now the congress elections are over again. It was a tight race in Midtjylland, with the winners decided by just one vote. The winners were BFSte from TUP and John Batlett from the RFA, with 8 and 7 votes respectively.

Both are honourable and hard-working citizens who will be a great asset to the UK in congress. Yours truly, who ran for the BCP under the banner of the BEP (with their permission of course) came in third with 6 votes. Fourth was taken by the long time citizen Necrosis, AKA Glorious Failure with 4 votes. The remaining 4 candidates only got 1 vote each.

Of course, I feel that any two of the top four would make excellent members for congress, so while it was a dissappointment to not get elected, at least I know that Midtjylland and the UK are well served with their congressmen.

The election was run quite fairly, with no public abuse of candidates flying around in the forums or the news (at least, none that I saw anyway). This result wil not dissuade me from trying again, as I feel that I will be an asset to the eUK government in the form of congress.
