The Cabinet and V2

Well it was a long week of campaigning, and an even longer day getting everything situated, but here we are in V2. It was a fun campaign and KillingTime, Aiden Astrup, and Glorious Failure were all great candidates. It was an honor to run against each of them, and to those who supported me and voted for me, thank you all for your support. We’ve got a lot of work to do in the coming month, and I will be calling on that support again and again. Now, allow me to introduce the people who will be helping me this month. Before I do, let me preface this by saying; this is not a team of all-stars who have more name recognition than Alexis Bonte. This is a team of people who are hard workers, who’ve been quietly doing things for America for months. They are some of the most dedicated people in this country, and they do what they do because they care about America. Ladies and Gentlemen, my cabinet:

Vice President: Fionia
Chief of Staff: Myles Robinson
Secretary of Defense: Angelini
Secretary of State: Laurenbug
Secretary of the Interior: Serendipitous
Secretary of Media: David Landon
Secretary of Technology: Necros Xiaoban
Secretary of the Treasury: Batterytime

Now, obviously those people are not the only ones on the cabinet, but I tried to allow my Secretaries as much freedom as possible when picking their staffs. In my opinion, it’s better to allow these people to pick people they know they can work with, and I tried to allow them that freedom as much as possible.

So welcome to V2

Now that I’ve shown my cabinet, let me talk a little bit about what we’re doing in preparation for V2. Already these people are hard at work in a multitude of areas. The Tech Department is looking at ways to use the V2 API, and to update our current software to use the V2 API instead of the V1 API. (I admit most of that is Greek to me, I’m no coder. I just let them talk nerdy to me and post what they say).

The Department of the Treasury is hard at work trying to figure out the best tax system for our V2 economy.

On the horizon for the Department of Media is something really cool. We’re working on an Office of Off-site Media which will include twitter, youtube, and even a radio station! If you’re interested in helping with such a task please contact David Landon, he’ll get you right to work.
