The attack on France and our Foreign Policy. [EN/FR]

There we go for another Article that's going to get deep into a matter of controversy.

First off let's start with this, we will never fight agaisnt Spain so if anyone was requesting that we send troops to france and help them repel the spaniard, you can forget about this. Spain has helped us much in the past and we will never forget what they did for us. Even if some do not approve of what Spain has done, it's not and will never be an excuse to turn our back on one of the nations that we can truly consider a friend. They gave so much for us in order to remain free.

But that being said, there is also a need for clarification. Our current foreign policy is to not contest the sovereignety of other nations, unless being directly threaten by them. And altought there is allegation that the french have ''trolled'' the spanish media, provocating them to attack, in truth they did not presented any danger to Canada, Spain or Eden. It was done in the rule with a 24h warning [eden] but however, there was no consulting and it is disturbing eden timetable for military operation. That's our main concern honestly, and we're a bit dissapointed in that. Also it would be dishonest from us, who claim to be mainly peacekeepers (not related in anyway to PEACE GC), to openly support this maneuver. Banach asked a question last week concerning the fact that should we attack, keep on holding grudges, the reactions we're interesting. And truth to be told, we attacked them first in december 2008, they attacked us and were more succesfull in the summer of 2009. The fact is where does it end?

We will support however any attack on a country that is threatening our very own sovereignety or any of our allies, and if that include occupation than so be it, but bear in mind what I said, if they are presenting a real threat only.

We also recognise that there is no peacefull end to the present conflict and altought we have strived for peace it is not attainable in the current situation. This as been made very clear in the meetings we had in the past.

But, with all this, if France was to ever attack in any way original region of Spain we would fully commit every ressource we have in the protection of Spain. We still have a MPP and strongly intent on renewing the MPP with our allies.

In the end, it concern Spain and we recognise that this decision is in fact theirs and we will not interfere in the military operation of our allies.

Alors on-y vas pour un autre sujet très controversé!

Premièrement commençons par ceci, nous n'allons jamais nous battre contre l'Espagne, alors à tous ceux qui demandais que nous envoyons des troupes défendres les français de l'invasion espagnole, vous pouvez oublier ça immédiatement. L'Espagne nous a beaucoup aidé dans le passé et nous n'allons jamais oublier ce qu'il ont fait pour nous. Même si certain désaprouve ce que l'espagne a fait, ce n'est pas et ne sera jamais une excuse pour tourner notre dos à une des nations qui répond parfaitement à la définition d'ami. Il nous ont tant donné pour que nous restions libres.

Mais ceci étant dit, il y a un besoin évident pour plus de clarification. Notre politique étrangère est de ne pas contester la souveraineté d'autre nation, sauf si elles menace directement notre sécurité (ou celle de nos alliés). Et même s'il y a des allégation de ''trollage'' français dans les média espagnols, les incitant à attaquer, en vérité ils ne représentent aucune menace pour le Canada, L'Espagne ou Eden. Et nous somme un peu mécontent de cette attaque. Elle a été fait dans les règle du 24h d'avertissement, mais il n'y a eu aucune consultation avec Eden. Ceci a également déstabilisé la planification militaire d'eden pour les prochains jour ou plus. Ceci est notre principal point de désaccord et nous en sommes d'ailleurs déçu. Ce serait également Malhonnête de notre part de ne pas agir en concordance avec notre politique de gardiens de la paix. Banach a d'ailleurs écrit un article à ce sujet. Et pour dire la vérité, nous avons attaqué la france en Décembre 2008, ils nous ont rattaqué à l'été 2009, mais on peut se poser une question, ou est-ce qu'on arrête?


Nous supporterons par contre toute attaque sur un pays qui représente une menace pour notre souveraineté ou celle de nos alliés, et ceci peut inclure une occupation temporaire, mais garder à l'esprit que ceci ne s'applique que s'il représente une menace pour nous.

Nous reconnaisson également qu'il n'y a aucune fin pacifique possible à ce conflict, puisque malgré que nous ayons toujours été en faveur de la paix, elle n'est pas atteignable ici. Ceci a été rendu on ne peut plus clair dans les rencontres que nous avons eu avec les deux parties dans le passé.

Mais avec tous ça, Si la France attaquerais de quelque façon un région espagnol, nous utiliserons toutes les ressources disponible afin de protéger la souveraineté de l'espagne. Nous avons toujours de MPP et avons l'intention des les renouveller le mois prochains.

À la fin, ceci concerne l'espagne et nous reconnaissons que cette décision est la leur et nous ne tenterons pas d'aucune façon d'intervenir dans leur opérations militaire.
