Some Unimportant Stuff

Greetings UK,

I just remembered that we have some active citizens that are not in Congress Mass mails, and I thought the 4 or 5 of you may also want to know some of the important things taking place in UK government. To give you a hint, though, here's some spoilers: nothing much happened. I feel obliged to keep you updated anyway, though, so this article will describe to you in some detail the things that did not happen. I hope you guys appreciate this, as I had to interrupt my "Bojack Horseman" binge to write this crap.


Deploy Allied Forces

This update seems to have cut down on the amount of battles we can participate in at any given time. While this may not be a big deal to our ground troops, due to the low rate of air battles our air fighters may find themselves in a situation where they must choose between moving to fight in battles or letting their energy sit unused, wasting opportunities to earn XP.

Asking countries to deploy us for air rounds does not seem like a good solution, at least given our current lack of organisation. Even if UK gets deployed for air rounds, many of our fighters will miss the window and having not provided much damage, we are likely making it harder for us to be deployed on future requests. To rectify the issue of organisation, we will try to gather participants who would be willing to fight in air battles on short notice, which will involve communication through some app outside of eRepublik.


RTW


Contrary to my expectations, we don't actually have a flood of countries volunteering to have an RTW with us. In fact, they seem to not like the idea in general, as those countries which were contacted said no. Some didn't say anything at all. I'm not gonna drop names or anything, but lets just say their viking ancestors would be ashamed of what passive aggressive wimps their descendants became.

Although talks are still ongoing with a couple of countries about having an RTW, I am starting to lose hope we will be able to implement this, which brings us to...


Plan B

In my election manifest I talked about participation in a real war in case RTW fails. The CP cabinet has discussed some options which would involve us invading someone, but it seems that whatever the case, the outcome would be bleak for UK. With the recent invasion of Russia, however, it appears we may have an option of participating in a real war indirectly. A new possibility is also taking shape, and that is Orion alliance taking a side in the aforementioned war. Too good to be true, you say? Probably, but I gotta write something here. And who knows, maybe the impossible can happen?


AS Energy Bar

Most of the heavy work in this area was done during Mitte's term, but at 89% we still had to collect some more energy to reach the full bar. In the last week we done so, and the AS Energy Meter stands at 100%. If anyone has suggestions on how to waste this, let us know.
