Saving Your Rank - Get Strength First
asecondchance
I watch too often people advance out of D1 and D2 with really low strength. This is the biggest mistake both as a player and for the nation. We need strength in D1 and D2 for our battles and getting to D3 and D4 with low strength does not help us win wars or you any battle hero medals.
If you are new to this game as I am (playing less than 1 year)... and still in D1 or D2... Stop fighting daily... If you do fight, only do enough kills to get the Daily Order done... Advancing before you are ready as I said weakens you and Australia as a whole. We only have limited number of active fighters, we need them all strong for their divisions.
Some goals to aim for before you advance....
- Stay in D1 until you have at least 2,500 strength
- Stay in D2 until you have at least 10,000 strength
There is little left in this game of interest except for the War module... where strength is key. Spend your gold to upgrade your training facilities. Train every day. Fight only when Australia needs you to fight!!! Take days off... do not rush advancement!!

I can not like this article enough. What he speaks is true, for the betterment of eAustralia the newer players have to stop advancing too quick.
Pfft .... you can't even lift
This is what you are aiming for http://www.erepublik.com/en/citizen/profile/6523718 and http://www.erepublik.com/en/citizen/profile/6430219

you should not hold back from fighting, train as much as you can each day and fight as much as you can everyday, overall this way you will get stronger the fastest possible inlcuding both rank and strength.
its not advantageous to stop fighting, but ensure you train with as high level buildings as possible and fight with Q7s or highest you can afford.
Wrong - You SHOULD hold back fighting. Fighting cost money and gives unwanted experience. By holding off fighting you are able to 1. win more BH = gold (higher strength in lower div). 2. upgrade training facilities faster because of saving money = more strength.
Right now 1 gold will buy 25 Q7. Don't fight. Save Gold. NEVER fight with less than Q7
Rank is good too, but it can always come later. More strength = more rank points. I do 13,425 damage per Q7 in Div 2 and Tim does 12,045 damage per Q7 in Div 4.
Play slow and you will be better off in the long run.
Cluess.
Rank level means hardly anything for you effectiveness in battle (1/20th the value of a point of Str yet thousands of rank point to get a new rank). Experience points count for nothing in getting kills.
Do the math.
If you wait a little now, you gain much, much more later in BH and CH and glory rewards. Or you could end up with my pathetic medal count and lack of gold.
Tim wrong AGAIN
Tim & Larni have the same disease, even though everybody knows they're wrong they still believe they are right, it's quite comical 😛
Unfortunately most people can't even afford to do the DO each day, so fighting for most people would bankrupt them and hurt our country further.
ADF and maybe 3 or 4 MUs supply, but all are struggling and most aren't consistent, therefore over-fighting is actually weakening our nation.
Time to reduce MPPs and fund our soldiers, after all it is their money 😉
when you get Australian citizenship Henry then you get a say in what happens, until then you are just a rambling brazilian
This inconvenient truth would only be confirmed further, Tim, if you bothered to ask yourself why Henry took Brazilian citizenship when he can not even dance.
As the Commander of the 2nd best MU in Aus he has plenty of say and probably more real influence than the DoD.
Brazil cit yes, look at my TP for over a year and only 330 Million, but I've done over 2 BILLION for eAus, and so have my 2 patriotic MUs, for your own sake don't pull a Larni and want to eat your words 😉
Looking at those profiles is unrealistic and...they would literally have to abstain from fighting to not level up. I don't see any other way to reach such high strength without NOT fighting, and just spending gold, and lots of it. There's no way I'm going to sit around for months and just 3-click my way to tens of thousands of strength and not fight.
The average player won't do that, and won't have the gold required to do so, and I would end up quitting before doing that. You can't set such high expectations. Fighting is a big part of the game and to tell someone to not do it for 6mo+ and just train each day...sounds no fun to me.

I hear you that without fighting the game is even more boring (if possible) but in 2 or 3 months after you have been playing you will regret getting advanced without the strength. It is a catch 22... without fighting you would lose interest and quit, but without waiting to get strength before advancing you will get frustrated and quit because in D3 or D4 you are basically useless if you are so weak... I would really suggest new players focus on the economy module, try to get a media mogul award, something to keep interested while trying to increase strength...
Just be smart about fighting. When I was in Div 1 I would fight maily with rockets to get BH. Rockets don't give you experience. Weapon prices were a lot lower then. I also never worked my own land. I sold everything and was able to upgrade faster. I also did spend some RL money. War Stash is a pretty good deal for younger players. It will get you a few BHs.
Voted for Truth.
my bad hahaa
o7 voted and sub
Voted. This is a good article with excellent advice.
I just hope young players will know to appreciate that. 😉
Trufax.
Strength wins battles, not politics and trolls, save every candy bar and bazooka, every piece of gold and upgrade the training centres when the 45% specials are on, only use candy bars and bazookas in missions, the rewards for being patient will outweigh the minuscule damage you would have done by using them early.
Has Aus ever thought of doing this ?

I remember vividly that that system worked quite well and many were happy for it's running. This looks like something that could easily be loaded onto the shoulders of Education, as I don't think it would be a too hard task.
