P*ss Off Plato

Ah well, it was fun while it lasted. However, a heady mix of mass apathy and terminal laziness on my part has signed a death warrant for the P*ss Off Plato competition.

And the fact that eRep has just been sold - making it even more unlikely than usual that anything will change in the near future - added the final flourish under the signature (on the previously mentioned death warrant - do try to keep up).

Effectively, Plato has p*ssed off all on his own, before we had chance to really p*ss him off ourselves.



So, as a result, I've shut down the P*ss Off Plato competition 🙁

We raised over 500,000 as a prize fund (528,000 plus some change to be almost exact). I took that to mean that there was a real, tangible willingness to aggravate the hell out of Plato and force through significant improvements to the game. But as some of you predicted, apathy overtook us. And as none of you predicted, RL events overtook us too.

But that willingness is there. Perhaps someone else can tap into it. If you try, you'll have my support.

So here it ends. Thanks for all the support. And super massive double huge thanks to all the people who donated to the prize fund (your donations have all been refunded). It's a pity this thing didn't pan out as I'd hoped.
