Day 1,805, 15:13 Published in Ireland Ireland by IamGawain

Hello,

I am writing this article, to show my interview with 2 people running for president, Nogin & The Psych0.

Here is the message interview with my questions and his answers.

ThePsych0

1. What do you think of the taxes, are you going to try and change them?
-I fully support current taxes, since I was the one who proposed them. I think current taxes are help our citizens to make some money while trading and decline foreign sellers so we keep all the money in Eire. Plus. I guess with marketing by our MoF's we can make enough money for any kind of projects.

2. What type of government do you support?
Hmmm. Maybe I don't understand this question. I'd like to see all eIrishmens united, to everyone have same goal. We're in very difficult situation atm and what we need more then ever is unity. So I'd say I'm in support of coalition government between major parties.

3. What is your foreign Policy, what are you going to do to help?
My foreign policy is helping our long time allies and asking help from them if we need it. eIreland have always been loyal to our friend, to our alliance, I'll keep that way. As long as we get same back..

4. What is your immigration policy, what are you going to do to help?
We can increase immigration by started projects like we had before. Some of them are "Goldfish" or "Pass the salt, Peter"; I think those two projects really helped us get some citizens. But also, we have to be really careful while accepting new citizens, it can be dangerous.

5. What is your idea's for war, and or current wars going on now?
Ireland needs a war and I will provide us war. Whatever it takes.

6. What is your view on minimum wage?
Current minimum wage is fair enough. I think Ian E Coleman perfectly explained it in his article.

7. What is your view on your party, and the current parties?
Saoirse rised like a phoenix from ashes. What we have to do is continue current way of leading party. We really became democratic and expirienced community. Our base is knowledge and patriotism, not RL ideologies.

8. What is your view on current business?
I am not a buisinessmen, so I can't really say anything about it 😛

9. What do you think needs to be improved or fixed in Ireland?
Whole community, our realtions with eachother. There are 150 players who fight every day here, maybe 50 of them reads articles and is active on irc. We can't divide ourselves. No matter how "other side" looks bad in our eyes. We all have same goals.

10. What are you going to do to help make Ireland better?
What I do best. I'll bring some fun over here. Wars, projects, involvement, you will have to wait for official candidacy article for more details 🙂
Agreements:
I agree with his idea's of making projects. I agree with his tax/minimum wage policy. I agree with his immigration policy as well.
Disagreements:
In question 7
"We really became democratic and expirienced community."
I totally disagree.
Democracy:
a form of government in which the supreme power is retained by the people, but which is usually exercised indirectly through a system of representation and delegated authority periodically renewed.

Constitutional Republic:
A government by or operating under an authoritative document (constitution) that sets forth the system of fundamental laws and principles that determines the nature, functions, and limits of that government.
A representative democracy in which the people's elected deputies (representatives), not the people themselves, vote on legislation.

I'd say we are a Constitutional Republic. I also disagree with his war perspective, we should not goto war for fun. That would make other countries look at us as if we enjoy fighting them, and would bring a lot more wars, and possible destruction. If you haven't looked at Poland on the map recently, they have a great army, we would not want to have them fight us. These war's could also make a lot of our population want to goto stronger countries when it comes to war. We should focus on peace/immigration/trading/prospering, if someone wants war they can fight for our ally's. I also understand he may not be a business man but any president should understand the economy's business statistic's, to know what needs to be improved. However the country should not be run like a business so I support that. I disagree with question 2's answer, about the coalition of parties. We express different opinions, so coming together for common cause may be nice sounding, which I support if possible, but others will not like giving up on their idea's to come together. Such as a Libertarian and a Communist. A Libertarian wont want to give up liberty, while a communist wont want to give up control, so you really will have no way of making them balanced. I say good luck to you, but I believe there's no possible way.
With all that said, The Psych0 is running for president, if you support him, he'd appreciate your votes.

Nogin
Here is the message interview with my questions and his answers.
1. What do you think of the taxes, are you going to try and change them?
==========================================================================
Our current taxes are among the lowest in erep, this helps our citizens in the current depressed erep global economy where goods and wages are constantly dropping in price by increasing there personal buying power and the import tax protects our business owners from foreign sellers and provides Irish employment at a comparable wage to other country's.
Taxes will be a subject that MoF's may tweak slightly in the future, however i see no major changes being made.

2. What type of government do you support?
===========================================
Ireland is a small country, with many political party's and different manifesto's, to get ahead we all need to work together, this means compromises need to be made by everyone, we should all have the same goal a better & stronger Ireland for its people, and if that means bringing all party's into the cabinet then that's what will be done.

3. What is your foreign Policy, what are you going to do to help?
=================================================================
In my previous CP term in Ireland I set in motion the wheels that resulted in us being granted membership of Eden, It has been a very successful alliance and the Eden forces have helped us many times in the past and we have reciprocated as well. Ireland has always been loyal to its friends and will never turn its back on those that helped it in its hours of need, just like we hold out the hand of friendship to other nations who need our help at this time, we will always strive to enlarge our circle of friends and help them when they need help.

4. What is your immigration policy, what are you going to do to help?
======================================================================
Immigration needs to be monitored, we seen what happened when we let know thief's & scammers in previously and lost 2.1 million to SAWC, a know thief in Canada, we need to research backgrounds before granting citizenship, its no good being wise after the event.

5. What is your idea's for war, and or current wars going on now?
=================================================================
this is now essentially a war game, the economic module is all but dead, we will provide our citizens with war via MPP's and troop deployments to overseas venues not covered by MPP's at this time, However a war with the UK is not a feasible proposition and would only result in financial ruin for the country with no economic gain to be had.

6. What is your view on minimum wage?
=====================================
It is that a minimum wage that no one gets except people in MU Communes, and is only a tool to reduce the MU's labour expense.

7. What is your view on your party, and the current parties?
=============================================================
The IFP is a party of the people, everyone is treated the same, everyone's voice is heard, everyone has a right to stand for congress and will be given that chance, provided they show to the PP that they are fully aware of the duties involved and understand the implications of the various motions they can propose.

As for other parties, how they mange there members is there own business, but it is disappointing that a NE against the UK was proposed this term, when it served no purpose other than to upset the peace that we now have with them.

8. What is your view on current business?
==========================================
Business is difficult for most players at this time, no matter what country they are in, and after paying wage costs and raw material costs the profits are small, but business's are the life blood of a country, they provide employment and in turn boost the country's wealth through taxes.

9. What do you think needs to be improved or fixed in Ireland?
===============================================================
We need to stop fighting with ourselves, stealing from ourselves, and stop making ourselves look foolish in the eyes of the eworld, we have a great diversity of citizens in Ireland from the eworld, and with a bit of co-operation could all work together and improve things for everyone.

10. What are you going to do to help make Ireland better?
==========================================================
Continue with Boot Camp (Supply for new players)
Continue with IA (Supply - restarted last week again)
provide Wars via MPP's & MU Deployment to areas not covered by MPP's
MoC will run additional articles/tasks with financial rewards to involve citizens

Agreements:
I support the Boot Camp, Supplies for new players. I support number 8. I agree with 1st part of number 9 about the people ripping the country apart. I support number number 7. I agree with 2nd half of number 5. I agree with number 4. I support 1 and 3. I agree with number 6.
Disagreements:
2nd part of 9, in order to have the way you said, you would have to get rid of the anarchistic, communists, thieves. This basically means not possible. In the 1st part of number 5, we should not seek war, if the people want war, they can fight for our ally's/friends. To add to 4, we should have ambassador's in other countries supporting immigration to Ireland, because its a great country with a decent/good economy. For 2, and I have said this many times, comprises won't work, a libertarian wont give up liberty while a communist wont give up control. Sure you could compromise other things, but liberty and control are opposites so they won't work together. Without taking away the core beliefs of them, its not possible.
With all that said, Nogin is running for president, if you support him, he'd appreciate your votes.
After all of this, I am saddened that my disagreements are x3-x7 the sizes of agreements, so I'll be voting for The Psych0, not because that's what Ireland deserves, but because that's what Ireland's got.

Thank you all for reading, please let me know your opinions, and if you support me becoming a minister to one of the presidents, please message them that. Thanks! Long live/prosper Ireland! Please subscribe if you like my paper, and like if you liked article.
