My Attempted Repeal of the Constitution

Alright, time to clear the air. I've seen two articles thus far about my proposal to repeal the Constitution. Both articles are from people usually very critical about our country's meta-involvement and desire to see things return to in-game. Now they are trying to gain political support from their inaction to repeal the Constitution.
So what did I propose? Just that.
I admit, I used joking language and dire predictions, but the only realy result would have been the removal of the Constitution.
My proposal would have simply eliminated the Constitution and allowed money to stay where it was, with the CBO or President. This is how this would work out in-game without the Constitution, since the President actually controls all of the organizations and is only bound not to touch money because of the Constitution. My proposal would have removed all meta-restrictions on Congress and the President. That's it.
I find it sad that people who usually stand up against this sort of meta-tyranny are now pouring out to criticize me for doing what they should have been pushing for years ago. All I have seen recently are attempts to make the system worse. Their recent failures have been associated with trying to limit Congressional voting options and hiding Congressional voting stances. Sound democratic to you?
Instead of listening to career politicians who have no accomplishments to their name other than complaining and "fighting the system", you should listen to those who actually have governed and who actually attempted to remove the authority of the eUS Forums. Those in the SFP and BSP are nothing but cowards and opportunists, who only seek political gain from your desires for a smaller government while doing nothing to actually change the status-quo.

I think there is no real improvement going on in eUSA except more votes were cast this month in the congress elections (and I hope it the multi masters are not the ones that accomplished that).

The problem with such jokes is that they aren't clear for people outside your culture. In eUSA many aren't real life US citizens.

What I see is SFP claiming to want the meta removed. It was placed in front of them, and they returned with a big fat no. Gotta love the liberal like flip flopping.
On a side note, it's great to see SFP at the bottom of the list. Less sheep from the party that don't take part in discussions, but do take part in votes.

You nake a proposal that sounds like you are being a troll and you are surprised that it gets treated like trolling? By your own admission this was an incomplete plan.
I made it pretty clear that I wanted to do it. I'm still making that pretty clear. You never participated in the thread, gave your thoughts, or asked if my intentions were genuine. It makes you a pretty terrible congressman if you assume such.
Pretty sure that the Feds/USWP power bloc has enough votes to pass this proposal...so what are you waiting on?
Once again rather that promote the merits of the meta-government you instead attack those who did not take part it what was obviously a joke discussion, proposal, and vote. It is BS like this that has made the eUS Forums irrelevant.
You claim to want this to happen so if you are serious then you have -between the Feds and USWP- the votes to push this repeal of the Constitution through Congress. If you are serious shut up and do it already....
Why would he have enough support between Feds and USWP to push it through? It seems obvious to me that their support would be the hardest to get. After all, many like to claim that the meta is where the political majority gets their power. You refer to them as "meta-lords" and the "congressional cabal", among other things. Why would they then vote to get rid of it, with that logic?
It's likely only going to happen with the full support of the minority parties.
With a low enough quorum, I am pretty sure they could push it through....

The problem is not the constitution, it is the sh#tposters and obstructionists doing what they do for whatever they get out of it; negative attention?, a feeling that they can leave their mark on a micro crumb of digital reality?, who knows what they get from their negative behavior.
While I agree that our constitution is full of gaps and inconsistencies, we cannot improve it, or replace it, if the only answer is finger pointing and name calling.
To me the bottom line is simple, if you hate meta so much, stop running for congress, play the game, try fighting or building houses, do anything to stay out of meta because meta is a mess and unless you want to be part of positive change, you are part of the problem.
