Moving Party & Introducing the team

Hi everyone
As the ILP PP is absent and thereby unable to candidate me I have temporarily moved to "The Way" who have kindly agreed to support my campaign. I thank them for their help.
This move will be reversed should Pat return shortly or after the election.
I would now like to introduce my proposed team for Government if I am lucky enough to win on the 5th.
The Vice President will be Bean&teddy.
Bean was a very hard worker during his time as Party President of the Independent Labour Party. He took over with the Party at a new low of about 42 members and watched it drop in his first week to 36. A lesser man would have given in and let the ILP to its presumed fate but not Bean. He worked night and day, with others to rebuild the Party to just short of 100 members. It is this drive and “never give in” attitude I want to harness and will, in no doubt, be used to change eIreland from a country where the only driver is war to one where war is just another strand in a entertaining game.
The Minister of Defence will be Kurdt Fradenburg
Kurdt is well know in military circles in eIreland and abroad. He was one of the founders of the Military Unit Labour’s_Army, a unit that regularly punches above its weight. Kurdt has previously served as a Deputy Minister of Defence and so knows the technicalities of running this busy department. Kurdt went a little inactive a while back due to computer problems but he’s back and ready to defend eIreland and support our allies with all his (and our) might.
Minister of Finance is once again Sweet Drinker
What can I say about the eIreland financial wizard that you don’t already know. Nothing really and his record speaks for him. Using his plans the finances of our eCountry are now healthy. In fact it is Sweet’s plans that allow me to consider running for office. I am not a rich player and could not do what IIR did and pay for MPPs. It is only because of the repairing of the state’s finances that allows me to be able to run. But I know Sweet is not finished and has more tricks up his sleeve.
Minister of Foreign Affairs is to be Moomoohead
Now Moo brings to this Cabinet his experience in Government having been Country President, Vice President, and Minister of Finance etc. Etc. He is also well known and liked al around the eWorld and will use these attributes to enhance our standing abroad. Moo will be tasked with maintaining good relations with our allies and improving dialogue with our enemies. With Moo we get experience in a team with a lot of new faces.
Minister of Education will be MikeBane
A Minister of Education? I hear you ask...Yes you read right. We all know Mike and the passion he has for eIreland. He gives 100% to whatever he puts his mind to. And because I know this about Mike I have tasked him with my Flag Ship policy, the creation of the University of eIreland. More about this in a later article but just to say it will be a permanent repository of erepublik learning for students.
Minister of New Citizens will be Military of San Marino
MSM is, despite his mere level 27, a long time player who is known to me and you by another name. He has a vast experience in eRepublik and will take over the duties of this critical Dept. eRepublik as a game will die unless new blood can be found. Maintaining active citizens is a priority for MSM, Despite the work the Government has put in the number of actives has actually dropped. MSM will be tasked to find new ways to encourage new citizens to get over the first few levels to a point where the addiction bites.
Finally
The Minister of Community/Culture is Brent Wyrick
Brent as we all know is the nice guy of eIrish politics and is a perfect fit for this job. He already had new ideas and plans bubbling around in that “ malice free” brain of his. If anyone can get citizens to join him in the fun stuff then it is Brent!
I hope you find this mixture of experience and new blood to your liking. I ask that you give us a chance to prove our worth by entrusting us with your vote on the 5th

Hmm..can't help but notice the lack of experience in this cabinet (except for Sweet Drinker) and in you yourself.
In these hard times a government like this will not be beneficial to us at all.
I hope you don't win. Not for personal reasons but for Ireland.

Just want to point out that it should probably be a renewal or something of the like about the university of eIreland as we had one about 2 years ago when I first came into this game.
Bean&Teddy has in fact worked extremely hard for the ILP party and I do not doubt that he will continue to put his utmost into helping eIreland.
Kurdt Fradenburg has in fact been a d-MoD many times so I wouldn't quite say he is inexperienced but I am sure that our mates from the ICA will lend a hand with strategy if they decide he might have made a tactical blunder.
Sweet Drinker has had enough compliments already and I am not one to ply it on unless it benefits me.
Moomoohead has a large amount of contacts or so I believe. I believe he could have a fair chance as being a decent MoFA.
He has a fair number of eUSA and eCanadian friends so our relations may increase in that part of the world which would benefit us.
MikeBane, personally I am not sure about the minister of education as, as far as I can see it is pretty much the same job as minister of new citizens.
Military of San Marino, I don't know him personally or maybe I do perhaps in a past elife but I believe he will do a good job. I am willing to help him out if he needs help.
Brent Wyricks I think WHS's description suits him well enough.
And finally WHS himself, I believe him to be a decent, honest sort of guy. As can be seen by the number of articles he has published he is a fairly organized guy as well unlike the other candidate(s) by the looks of things.
I can't speak for all of the proposed ministers but there are definitely a few quality choices in there. Good luck to all.

WHS you forget to add Kurgan's Ministry of Chaos, Gore and Spiritual Enlightenment.
It would not change much anyway since Kurgan's Ministry don't get elected but force itself to any government on power...

Great cabinet WHS. Go for it!
I do agree that this lacks experience but imo that's a good thing.
This is a chance for a number of citizens (including myself) to educate ourselves in this area of the game and gain the experience of being in government. This will mean that later on, future CP's will have an even wider choice of cabinet than before meaning we don't always see the same people in.
Don't get me wrong I have noting against the people that usually get in, It would just mean that CP races could be a lot more interesting as there would be bigger difference's in cabinet.
Apart from that we do have friends who are more experienced in those area's that we can call upon if needed. We will not be afraid to take advice and suggestions along the way from whoever offers it.
So yes slight lack of experience but maybe that's a good thing. 🙂

WHS for president
My opinion so don't give out.
Moo as MoFA? I know he has great contacts but how does it look to our best ally Croatia when they see Ireland's MoFA MooMooHead fighting against them? I don't agree with Libertad being in Irish government as they are an independent organisation and don't follow the order of the State, so why should they be in cabinet of our state? Especially in this field.
Mikebane as Minister of Education is all good no problem, but about 1 week ago I messaged him as part of a team I was told were working with me on an NC-Help Centre to help educate New Citizens, he hasn't replied to me. So hopefully after reading this comment he will get in touch and help me with this like I'm told he signed up to......
Also I do like the way your cabinet is mainly party focused, brings politics back into the game in a way, however bringing politics into this can also be a downfall....

In my opinion, the same people getting in over and over is a good thing so long as they are good CP's.
I just don't think Ireland will benefit from this government at the moment. Maybe during a time of peace or what not the cabinet could do great things for our community but right now we need a strong experienced government that can handle the situation without having to ask people what to do.
Kurdt may have been Deputy MoD at some stage but being honest about it they really don't do anything nearly like what the MoD does. Strategy is very key and MoD and president shouldn't need to refer to an outside party. Moomoohead and nithraldur tried to do it and it resulted in us being wiped.
Bean may have worked hard for his party but what has he done for Ireland to merit a cabinet seat? Party politics shouldn't come into it when selecting a cabinet in this game.
I think Conway pointed out the very obvious flaw in Moomooheads placement on this cabinet. He may be more suited to an internal job out of the public eye. It is unfortunate that he decided to put Mexico's interests over Ireland's but he know must face the consequences of his actions much like many of us have had to in the past i.e me
And on the WHS topic same as Bean. He may have done a lot of work for his party but what has he done to deserve or merit the President position. We have no way of knowing if he is up to the task and I'm not sure if he is even aware of the time and effort needed to be a CP. I'm certain Columbia wasn't expecting to put so much time into it as she did.
I really don't see why we should elect a government that is using the fact that they can ask people how to run the country if they can't do it themselves when we can simply elect the people they will ultimately end up asking. It just seems largely counter-productive to me.

Not that much to say about the cabinet. Other than DoD will need more than one person to run, but IA officers will undoubtedly be helping out as always. Moo, certainly has contacts, but the entire reason for the hoo-haar last election was that he was the figure head of the attacks against our allies - so making him MoFA is a poor choice considering there is plenty of other talented Irish players without anything to hold them back (at least until that shitstorm finally goes away).
Also was gunna make a joke about Mike's style of education by making a comparison to Stalin's Russia but I fought the urge!

It does yes but under Education too, the point of it is to educate the New Citizens so really a cross between both of these ministries.
