The Introduction
Today it is time to start something new, something that Belgium sorely needs. As the new Minister of National Security (MoNS) I will make it more personal goal to bring back peace and harmony to eBelgium.
Currently the country faces two possible threats. One is the possible manifestation within our top 5 parties (All of them will face detailed searches), the other the possible threat from outside our borders, the possibility of a foreign PTO force making its way into the country.
Before I carry on I best introduce myself to you. I am Dan/naD Wilshire (EcoFreak on the IRC), I have been CP, a congress member and I have held multiple ministerial positions. I am here for one purpose, that purpose is to ensure that eBelgium stays a peaceful nation. That is my goal, and I hope that you will assist me with that.

John Edgar Hoover was the key man in the founding of the FBI in the USA. I saw the Film made about him earlier this year and after seeing what is going on in this country thought it would be a useful tool to help get my point across to you.

This is going to be my first aim. A lot of people in game, through the forum and on the IRC are throwing around accusations here and there at different parties on assumptions that they have made. Not only do they have a weak foundation for their accusations, they are ultimately insulting people who may not have done anything wrong, hurting their image and the image of the party of which they represent. This is something that I do not feel is necessary and it is most definitely something that I would like to stop from happening.

This is ultimately true. Many players have an idea in their head that party x or party y are creating multiple accounts so that they can succeed in gaining control of the country and the money that it has access to. But without proof, without an investigation these accusations are all just ideas. So over the next week, I will be creating a document of Every player who has under 500 strength and/or 5000 experience points (Level 25). Following their documentation, I will personally send them a message welcoming them to the game and informing them of this article. Every player will be given 5 days to reply to my initial message. If after 5 days I have received no reply, they will receive a 2nd message giving them further 3 days to reply to that. If after 8 days with no reply I will put them on the report list to then be reported to the admin 2 days later as a possible multiple account.

Along with the internal threat, we have an external one too. Switzerland, Singapore and the USA are just a few examples of PTO’rs at work. Switzerland cannot allow itself a congress due to the threat of money being stolen from the national accounts. Singapore is completely overrun but PTO’r with no real hope of regaining power, while the USA fights each month to ensure that a minimal amount of congress seats are won by the PTO group. I do not want to see this happen to eBelgium. There is no need for a PTO ground to be allowed the opportunity to grow strong within our community.

There is a constant battle for power, some fight fairly, others enjoy bending the rules to suit their needs. Your friends and family are the people who you should be able to trust, to rely on, however you can never be 100% certain what they could really do if the right form of persuasion came around. Even great men can be corrupted.. To ensure that every case is properly investigated I will work alongside the current Immigration Officer to ensure that the most stringent of investigations happen. For this to happen immigration reform must occur to allow the precise and detailed investigations to take place so that we can be 100% certain that a player is safe before we even consider passing their application over to be voted on by our congress members. I will devote my time to work with the current Immigration Officer ( McKitKat ) so that you, the citizens can rest easier, with no worriers of a possible PTO.
The Ministry of National Security - I need someone who I can trust. I want you to be my number two man.
For any plan to work it needs time, time is a resource limited by not the number of hours in the day, but by the number of people working on the plan. If a man takes 6 hours to dig a hole, it can only be assumed that it will take 2 men 3 hours, 3 men 2 hours etc. This is try for this ministry. To be successful I will need a team, a team of people who will be willing to check every profile in eBelgium, to send out tens if not hundreds of messages. Someone who still believe that eBelgium can be saved.

i am a RL Belgium and eBe from ebirth (min a couple months) , from 2010 that is. Still by some i am called a ptoer. that makes me laugh.. in the 3 years i have been here i have seen 0 real pto attempts but have heard a lot of gov use the name to stay in command..

No, my dear you are very, very wrong. I know very well what is PTO and I`ll try to explain it to you. "Political Takeover (coup) - When a highly organized group from a densely populated Country moves into a separate country and gains political power of said country by out numbering other citizens in an election." So I am asking you to answer me; where are those supposed PTO-ers? There are none, they don`t exist, they are non existent. Mabellene if you have nothing to hide, there is no need to worry about what other people think. I will be going through every party, and military unit to ensure that there are no Multies, and ever person who wants CS will be investigated. It's better to be safe than sorry!
