LOOKING BACK
Last December I was asked to write the very first Oblige campaign article.

I did so gladly, feeling confident that there could not possibly be a better candidate for PoTUS than Oblige.

What I wrote back then was that Oblige will basically outwork anyone who gets in his way. His level of activity in this game is unparalleled.

What I wrote back then was that Oblige's high level of activity had qualified him as the most well-rounded candidate we had possibly ever seen.

What I wrote back then was that Oblige's intricate connections at every level of the metagame would produce favorable results for eUSA.

I wrote all of this before Oblige's first term.

I was right.

I just had no way of expecting HOW right I was!

Oblige has enumerated his successes. Some have criticized him for tooting his own horn. But facts are facts. Not only has Oblige succeeded in every single goal he has set forth, he has done so with an almost otherworldly perfection.

Oblige has captivated more Political endorsements than any CP candidate. Ever. This is epic.

...THEN...
But more than any other detail, the reason I am personally backing Oblige is because he still has more on his agenda to accomplish.

He and I sat together to talk about the fact that we were going head to head in the Primaries, robbing one another of endorsement votes. It was bound to happen, of course, but I was confident in my ability to carry enough Top 5 Endorsements and enough Sixth party endorsements and enough two-click votes. I could envision my victory on 2/5.

But in meeting with Oblige, I asked him one particular question whose answer stood out. I asked Oblige what his goals would be for this coming month.

His answer was so good that I quite literally thought to myself, "Wow, I am going to have to either steal some of that or else just get behind it."

I was not going to build my campaign on someone else's goals. Oblige won my vote that night and within 15 minutes I had withdrawn my name from every Party Primary.

THINKING FORWARD
Oblige will confirm with you that he had offered me the position of Secretary of Defense PRIOR to that meeting. So while it is true that I did not accept the spot until after I withdrew and supported his campaign, it is also true that the spot was previously offered to me and was in no way a backroom payoff.

Why does Oblige want me as Secretary of Defense?

And what are Oblige's plans for February that were so inspiring as to cause me to set aside my own aspirations?

I don't want to steal his thunder. But I will tell you this. What Oblige wants to accomplish this term, if successful, will set eUSA on a course that will strengthen us in this game for months to come. He has envisioned the most ultimate form of Mentorship-oriented administration which will be populating our National Government with tomorrow's Cabinets, Deputies, and Leaders.

Because my game has always revolved around new-player development, and because Oblige is firmly committed to a Meta-game Renaissance, I am proud to accept the role of Secretary of Defense, I pledge to conduct that office within the goals Oblige has shared with me, and I am confident that he has chosen every other one of his Cabinet members for the same reason.

Vote for Oblige.

eUSA will win if you do.
