what is it for?
I mean Irish government has got only authorized one army under control and that\'s simply under Ciaran\'s control, why do you request to create a two headed army and a divided people?
Otherwise, if your force is paramilitar organization, then if president request from you to give your control to Ciaran, you have to, if you don\'t then president can say you are an illegal org, isn\'t it?
And more than all, you are signed in August, 1 month old, still counted as newbie...
I mean how dare you create somethings by yourself, Ireland already has a army, Ireland has already have some kind of secret service/paramiliter org. for harsh times...
Enlight me!
EnlightEN you? OK then.
This is a VOLUNTEER army for aiding occupied nations, with the added bonus of being independent from the Irish government for national security reasons.
Yes, it is a paramilitary force, look at the wiki: http://new-wiki.erepublik.com/index.php/Irish_Volunteer_Force
Attacking me due to the number of days I\'ve played the games is irrelevent, it is ability that reigns supreme, not time.
who are u to say we cant set up the ivf(ira and irb)
Also, Agathon, Igor is an IVF Army Council member.......
Yeah.
And in fairness Brian is a much more vocal citizen than you Agathon. So calling him a newbie is a bit much. He has done an awful lot for eIreland.
Also, who set the forums up?
I have 2 small critiques
1)freeforums are pretty poor
and
2)There are no posts as of yet..
Me, and freeforums I chose due to the built-in chat feature.
There are posts, you just couldn\'t see them due to permissions.
You should be able to now.
Okay, fair enough.
I just don\'t like freeforums...
It is hard to advertise the real army when your putting out an article every day. I mean i put out an ad for the IDF and people had to ask if it was the real army due to all the fake organizations with ireland in its name. So i do kind of agree with agathon as to what the point is of advertising it every day.
I cannot register. Had the same issue with the other forums. It keeps telling me my code (math problem) is too small. I am not a mathematical genius, but I can sort out basic arithmetic. Can someone help, please?
Not you but probably the site...I always get that when I have to put in an authentication code.
@Ciarán: I do not think that any of us have advertised at all over the last few days. I for one have not advetised for the eIRB since WW1
Ciaran, I have an idea that\'ll help your recruitment, if the other Army Council members vote in favour...
I do kinda have to agree, that it does to the outside world look like 2 entities under goverment.
I can understand people wanting to create a Merc force, so people can goto war, and do things that we may not get to do here, (or pray never to do).
However, with the word Irish in the title, it is going to come under fire, as the name is symbolic of our country.
Maybe change the name again, say Republican Volunteer Force (as an example), and you will be able to distance yourselves from other offical groups, and also expand to other areas, and other countrys, thus creating a much bigger merc force 😉
\"However, with the word Irish in the title, it is going to come under fire, as the name is symbolic of our country.\"
In all fairness, the important (well-informed) people are going to know the difference.
Sadly, were using something called the internet... and well, theres alot of idiots online, and alot who love to make connections that arent there, use rl issues for online gameplay, and see a word and connect it to something simular.
Welcome to the Internet, where the well informed thrive.
exactly look at the IDF recruitment article there is new people who are confused because of all the orgs running with ireland in their name.
you have more than 4 IRA soldiers now?????
We have alot more.
Who in ainm dé are you?
OK...I give up! I tried off and on all day, yesterday, and again this morning. I cannot register on the forum.
mac, I\'ll create an account for you, pm me the details.
"This is a VOLUNTEER army for aiding occupied nations,"
