A message from Colonel Paddyohale of the UK Army Reserve:

Greetings, potential recruit.

The eUK Army is currently recruiting soldiers of strength 3.0 and above to join the Army - specifically the 21st Special Air Service Regiment (the real-life TA part of the SAS). We have four "Troops" stationed around the eUK, split into Squads of 5 soldiers. These soldiers are based in the UK as a purely defensive measure, and will not be forced to move out of the eUK if they do not wish to. They are our "Reserve" force.

Those more adventurous and experienced squaddies can join the eUK Elite Paratroopers, who will recruit soldiers of strength 3.0 and above. These "elite" soldiers will be based in the eUK for now, but are a rapid response unit capable of deployment to any Allied country in times of war.

Don't worry about the cost! The Ministry of Defence will provide an equipment bursary to soldiers so they can buy a weapon and a moving ticket.

If you join the either the Reserves or the Paratroopers, you will be attached to a Squad or Platoon under the command of your NCO and a Commanding Officer. If you have any questions about joining, PM any of the officers (listed below) and they will be happy to reply.

can we have the reserve accepting people on str 2.2 as they will be at str 3 by war and theres a lot of eager but new soldiers. Squads will be assigned by the end of the day if you do not make this deadline don\'t worry you will be put on a waiting list and assigned a squad when one is available.

I am getting an awful lot of level 2 Reserve applicants. The processing may be a little slower but I\'ll enter them into the system. The problem I have is that I am limited in the amount of funds I have to dish out so it is imperative that I get any level 3+ recruits first as per the original policy so that if I do run out of money we\'ll at least have processed our stronger recruits.

La Chavvy, you are already enlisted as a paratrooper. If the UK is attacked the Paratroopers will most likely be recalled anyways so there is no need to be enlisted in both the Paras and the Reserves.
