I resigned today as Party President of We The People. Since the merger of the SFP outcasts in to what remained of WTP, I have been one of the more visible people in our party. This was my 9th term as your Party President, and concludes a stretch of three consecutive elections to the PP role. I will still be around, but it is perhaps time I take a step back for the time being. I was reluctant initially to return for another term, but you wanted me, so you got me!
Our party has changed and grown in the almost two years I have been a member, but its purpose remains constant. Some want us to be more like certain other parties, but that's not WTP is all about. We are an independent party of free-thinkers. It is what makes us special, and I hope we continue to represent that! I also want to take this opportunity to thank all the loyal Dominacs out there(do we need a better name?) for your support in this past CP election. I too was very disappointed by the outcome, but WTP will soldier on, and I have no doubt our best days are still ahead! I know one day there will be another WTP Country President, and whether it is me or someone else first, I look forward to serving my nation once again.
We have accomplished a lot during my most recent administration, despite the rocky road we faced over the past month or so. Firstly, we have beaten the Feds two consecutive months in the Congress Elections, although we did face some setbacks this past month that held our numbers back. While we have some close in the past, this was the first time WTP has ever been the #1 party in a Congress Election. We should all be happy about that! We also saw our numbers grow during our quarantine recruitment spree, and I hope we can maintain our first place position.
I trust that other Party Presidents will be able to build on all our success these past months. I am confident this will not be the last time I sit on the WTP throne. Until then, I will do what I have always done, support our party, its members, our leadership, and fight for a better eAmerica! There is a lot of negativity in eRepublik folks. Remember, it is just a game. Filter out the hate, and just try to have fun!

I try to pay respects to people who were important to me, and you make a false assumption and attack me publicly over it. It's sad man. This is a game. You can be useful to the party without being PP, and I am sure that you will be. And you can be PP after some time again as your commitment to the party is enormous.
