Here we go again

Salutations my fellow Citizens of these here United States of eAmerica.
I’m up on my soapbox today to officially announce that I am running for Country President for a third and final time. If elected to a third term, I intend on stepping back from government service after completing my term. It’s been a great ride, but I’m not quite ready for it to end.
This past month has been business as usual. Some maneuvering by our TW partners and AS by enemies caused temporary loss of some bonuses, which have all been straighten out now. We added the UK and Lithuania to our list of TW partners, and welcome back Colombia, as they are AS us as we to return to our shores. WB Colombia.
We continue to help our friends and Allies in Asteria battle CODE across the eWorld. We are currently marching our way around Europe trying to possibly secure a region there. There’s so much going on overseas that most of our Citizens don’t realize. I wonder how often the average player looks that the map, and when they do, do they only look at the US? I think most players just don’t pay to much attention to anything happening outside of the USA. Which is a shame. There’s a lot going on.

We still can’t seem to get more going on the domestic programs front. Some of that is tied the budget issue that Congress is dealing with, but that will have to be addressed this next month regardless.
The work of Government is never ending. But not always thankless. Sometimes all it takes is one message of support, one “Thank you, you’re doing a great job.” One pat on the back, to help you pick your head up and get back to the grind that is Government work. I get enough of those to keep me grinding away at this thing day after day. So I’m ready for one more turn of the wheel, one more cycle of elections, one last time.
