It is vital that every soldier is to free your territories. The germans have gone behind the backs of the noble Austrians, and completely ignored what was done by their once allies. Joining FAILTLANTIS, even though the entire Operation Burning Spirit was dependent on it. Germany has betrayed everyone.

Torgo is curious. As an Austrian citizen, this term Operation Burning Spirit is a novelty.
What does it mean? Was there a German plan before the AGU talks?
Torgo: You can read it up in the wiki. Operation Burning spirit was essentially the ploy to get rid of eSwedens oppressing of german regions early this year. Peace was helping the fight (it was against atlantis after all) and therefore all germans are backstabbers, cause we've made peace now with sweden. Operation Burning spirit is controverse though, as sweden already release 5 german regions or so.
But that was already eHistory for me when i was eBorn, so i even might mix some things up.

eAustrias inherent problems aren't solved and it will probably not get back Burgenland from eHungary any time soon. Time will tell what damage you've done.
A lot of Austrians have always been and will always be anti-Anschluss. So all the idle silly-guy talk about "peaceful merging" is just a desperate propaganda effort used by the imperialists to conceal the sordid nature of the German attempt at Austria's sovereignity. But the free world sees through the smokescreen of lies. Atlantis supporters, you can't cover the Sun with the palm of your hand - only from yourself.

The former presidents of the two countries went into their tantrums, both. Chicco and Quicksilver are two drama queens, each have an ego of a continent. About the RWs I have no solid opinion... eAustria was a founder in PEACE so its strange to join ATLANTIS, but they also seamed to agree on the AGU, where eGermans have an obvious majority to decide...
@Prizma Jeno: i agree on the first paragraph. The second with my quote was a conter to the heroic selfless peace action. Of course atlantis ain't better, but at least they don't sell it as altruism. Just be honest in stating, yes we want do kick atlantis ass and i like peace a little bit more.
yes eAustria is now a gordian knot of pros and cons to the AGU with random peace and atlantis bits intertwined. So i guess it would be wise for the GU to wait one or two month if the A is getting on its feet or if the next-next Austrian Prez wants to merge again *just kidding* 😉

Torgo said that a baby boom would be devastating for eAustria, the 'horde' would increase the anarchy, etc. But I think that a state with 200 or so citizens in the middle of eEurope will be defenseless and unstable anyhow. (there are many Silent Bobs and Han Solos out there 🙂

I don't know, but maybe its the other way around.. they support PEACE and thats why they moved after the union... or they are really have nothing to do with AGU and just trolling around like I do 🙂
Technically what Torgo said was that a baby boom sourced by the internet with players not from Real Life Austria would simply be exchanging one problem for another.
Either the new citizens behave at the start and then get distracted and move to other countries, leaving eAustria in the same ditch, or they behave poorly and add one more destabilizing influence to the pile.
The correct solution is to bring in RL Austrians who have a vested interest in supporting stability locally and can reliably outnumber TO from anywhere. Then you get an economy and investment in development based on pride and security.
