For my good friends on their eLove

Day 1,382, 04:01 Published in United Kingdom United Kingdom by Henry Hank Moody

Ok so i got really bored and adapted this for my good eFriends DakotaBlue and Neosis. Yep i was really bored 😛 Need something to do lol

Fire burned deep within my heart and I ached to hold her within my arms. My fingers clenched and I knew for certain that she could sense my desire, maybe even reciprocated it a little. But we didn’t act, we couldn’t, no matter how deep our feelings were, this wasn’t just because of the crowded coffee shop, he was always around us, neither of us could forget him. I couldn’t even touch her hand for fear of the fire that would be unleashed. Instead we forced ourselves to look away, it hurt more than anything ever before and was the very last thing in the world that I wished to do, but it was the only option open to me.

“So how’s the business Neosis?” The look in her eyes made me want to grab her and kiss her until the world exploded in the heat of our passion. The way she playfully bite her lip made me want to punch or scream at her just to make her stop.

It took a moment or two for me to gain control of my racing thoughts but once they were under some semblance of order I felt confident enough to return the smile and reply.

“You know. The usual.” Yep master of smooth and charming that’s me, want an exciting prospect I must appear.

“And the fighting?” Ah the one thing I definitely have over her other man, Dakota had always loved my fighting, couldn’t get enough of it in-fact. She had become my one and only muse, the light in the darkness of my misery, she was the only woman in the world I saw when I was killing. Her beautiful smile guided me through the swirling madness of war and brought me to the clear simplicity of pulling the trigger. It was in her name that I fought and in her name that I was victorious.

“Just a few thousand away from national-force, few more days and ill be done.” The nonchalant aspect of my personality took over right now and I made to take a sip of my coffee, only to remember it was all gone, I went with it anyway, anything to appear calm and collected in front of the woman I love.

“Don’t forget to help the British.” This she whispered softly into my ear, the feel of her hot breath made the hairs on the back of my neck stand to attention. Her delicate fingers wrapped themselves around the bare skin of my arm and I shivered despite the sudden flush of heat. That smile that I had fallen madly in love with was once more spread across her beautiful face and I felt my heart burst anew. Why couldn’t I handle it?

“Yep will do. Anyway we’d better get going if we want to catch the film.” I saw that perfect smile falter a little and she lingered her touch on my arm as she stood. I knew right then that if I kissed her she would have kissed me back.

We spent that whole day doing nothing but laughing and having fun in each others company. It was always so easy for us to be around each other and we could almost forget about him, almost. We spent hours just browsing through any and every shop we could find, we laughed at the strange floral dresses and tried on every Michael Jackson hat we could possibly find. It was a perfect day and I prayed the lord would just bring the world to an end, I would without a doubt die the happiest man in the world.

“Sir.” I looked around the crowded shop but no one was talking to me, no-one even noticed me. They were all too intent on rummaging through the sale items in the hopes of the perfect dress. Dakota had vanished round some looming clothes rack, her laugh peaked through the noise of the bustling shop and I smiled at the perfect sound. “Sir.” Again I looked around but no-one was calling me, I shrugged and let it be, must have been calling someone else.
Then while I was simply waiting for Dakota to return I swear I felt a slight tap on my shoulder. Then once again I felt a soft tingling in my ear as a warmth breath tingled its way into brain. “Sir.”

I opened my eyes. I was once more seated within the small beautiful coffee shop where I had started my story. Only this time I was no longer 19, I was 33 and Dakota was no longer with me. Instead, a young waitress stood over me tapping me slightly on my shoulder and whispering “Sir” softly into my ear.

“Are you ok Sir?”

“Yes I’m fine thank you just a little tired.” I smiled weakly as I spoke and she returned it full wattage.

“More coffee?”

“Please.”

As soon as a nice new steaming mug of coffee was sitting in front of me my phone began to vibrate. Looking at the screen my smile spread even wider.

“Hi Gorgeous. I was just thinking about you.”
