Food price report day 1835 (3 good, 1 and 4+ bad, 2 meh)
Vijalob
With current food prices, one should buy three star food, hold two star food, and quicksell all other food.
This P/H graph shows the current price per unit currency for each level of food. As US 1-star food has inflated to $0.04/(2 units energy), the unit price for 1-star food energy is $.0200 to buy. It takes a while to sell food at the same price that everyone else is using (but at least there are sufficient newbs that one-star food has plenty of churn, spoken as a newb), but one can generally count on quickly selling food for a penny less. This would be $0.03/(2 units energy), which is a unit price of $0.0150. This is the horizontal line that passes through Ms. Day's shoulders (the sale price is the Columbia Blue line with X's).
Slide over to the green triangle at the bottom of Ms. Day's longer arm of hair. This represents the market unit price of 3-star food. 3-star food has a current market price (like, if you want to buy it) of $.08/(6 units energy), which is a unit price of $0.0133. This is less than the unit quicksell price of 1, 4, 5, 6, and 7-star food.
So:
1-star foo😛
sell
2-star foo😛
eat
3-star foo😛
buy and eat
4-star foo😛
sell
5-star foo😛
sell
6-star foo😛
sell
7-star foo😛
sell

Good job! I agree completely!
Welcome to the media and Good job, it's seems to me like it would be a pain in the ass to collect the information for this so kudos. o7
Nice job.
Thanks all! Stan, I may do another on how to do one's own analysis -- AeroGent's column gives a (daily?) summary. I'm more interested in the HOW to do the analysis than the actual application (if I were to play the food market, I might be able to make a whole $3cc/day!). Next column is likely to be a closeup of the Monetary Market.
CURRAHEE! Great job, already waiting to see what the next article will be like \o/
