Finlandia

Day 3,340, 06:33 Published in United Kingdom Thailand by Euphorbus

Well, as fitting as the supposed, and apparently recent, dirge of activity pervading these fine fine shores, my hands have found themselves frozen countless times before the keyboard despite knowing that I ought to, as recalling my own promise as set out in my first article, fittingly named 'the manifesto', to offer you people an article.

Frozen...

...is perhaps the right word for in recent weeks (not to mention the weather in europe) we have been under the yolk of a land once romantically titled Finlandia. Coincidentally, 'Finlandia' is also a symphony written by a Finnish composer - Sibelius - with whom sought to subvert the Russian Empire at the time by depicting episodes in Finnish history in a nationalist fervour.

So let me encourage those with whom after several attempts have failed to retake lands belonging to the UK, to never relent, and to fight for what is yours and what is mine.
