Hello, people of eRepublik! 2020 finish today, and I wish you all an happy new year, letting you something to read. After this article about the eUSA population, I want to write another short article regarding all the eRepublik population of the year. I hope I can make it in few days.
As always, the first graphic represents the active citizens checked every day of the month:
We notice the big decrease of citizens started in the end of November did not stopped at all in this month: in the 29th December USA had the lowest number of active citizens of the whole year.
Total balance from 1st December (1303) to 31st December (1221) = -82 people.
Balance in % : -6 % of population in a month.
Top day: 2 December = 1305 people.
Low day: 29 December = 1216 people.
December mean = 1267 active citizens.
Next graphic compares the average population of the last 16 months:
This month has an average population similar to the lowest months of the year, March and August. It counts 21 people less than November and 90 less than May.

Also the worldwide population decreased a bit lately, but not so much as the eUSA population: during the month of December the citizens of the United States went back under the 3 % of the total alive citizens of the game.

As I said before, we never reached so low numbers than in these last five days.
And at last this is the graphic about the votes in Presidential and Congress elections of eUSA, compared to total active citizens.
Votes for presidents are in dark blue, votes for congress are in orange, and the rest of light green bar represents the quantity of “active” citizens that did not casted a vote.
In December, 342 people of 1299 voted for President, and 304 of 1228 voted for Congress. In percentage the votes are 26 % and 25 % , nothing more and nothing less than the rest of the year.

Maybe if we give up even more regions, leaving even more citizens in regions that are occupied 2 out of 3 days, we can knock the population down to just the insiders and a handful of bots, which seems to be the goal. Because after all, if you aren't one of them, you don't matter, anyway.

1267 active citizens -still not bad
No, it's bad, particularly compared to the more than 1300 we had at the beginning of the month.
More than "active", I prefere to define them just "alive". The regular active players are the ones that vote in elections and few more. So, just 400.
Great article detailing our population. Crazy that almost 75% of the population does not care about politics.

Why should they? "Politics" in this country is just a bunch of witless propaganda and lies that are designed to trick people instead of help them. As you know well.
I think those 75% are mostly beginners, who play just some days and then they leave the game. There are many new entries every day, and they still figure alive for a month after they left.
At least RT has no regrets
So sad to see that there are almost no ePlayers like before, but to be honest as i see it, eUS kinda locked the borders and do not accept and encourage immigration like old time with the excuse that they don't want to get PTO like happend couple of times in the old age of the game. There is almost no country in the game that asking for a form and checking so carefully the people like eUS so it's kinda sad to see that thing as well i hope it will be change in the future maby it's just me and more few people who see it that way but this is just my opinion.
