Day 1414 - More American Losses! New Alliance Formed!

Day - 1414


There was a backwards sort of victory for Canada in Newfoundland & Labrador last night. The United Kingdom captured the region, which is what EDEN and Terra wanted to happen. This move blocks Sweden from invading North America, something that they had been poised to do, moments before the United Kingdom auto-attacked Canada. Regardless, this was a break for Canada. There is currently a Resistance War in Swedish held Scotland. Another victory for the UK would likely put a more permanent end to the war between Canada and Sweden, as Sweden would have to attack the UK in order to gain a border with Canada. However, the Swedes are winning 2-0 at the moment, and should maintain their lead into tomorrow.

Peru’s last region was wiped by Australia, although the majority of the nation is under the combined control of Argentina and Brazil.
In other regional news, a new alliance was formed. You can read about it here. It includes Australia, Brazil, Chile, Columbia, Portugal, South Africa, and Uruguay. This will be a regional alliance, with loyalties to EDEN/Terra, similar to how ABC is a separate entity from ONE, but both alliances are closely linked.



More bad news for America. One day after losing Castilla y Leon to a Spanish attack, the Americans witnessed the liberation of Madrid. As has been the theme, the United States can easily win the Resistance Wars, but has no chance in the conventional Spanish attack, when ONE’s MPP stack is there to aide the Spanish.
Also of note in this region, is that Brazil has been losing regions to Resistance War on purpose. The idea being, that the Croatians are going to move into Spain. Currently, Croatia controls much of the Italian Peninsular, and shares a border with natural Spanish regions. The prevailing rumor, is that Croatia intends to move down into South America, using Spain as a jumping off point.

Russia is involved in a heated battle for Moscow with Latvia. The Latvians jumped out to a quick lead, but allied forces have arrived, and have secured multiple mini battles. Russia will likely gain the lead during the overnight, but will have to fight to keep winning once the ONE nations start waking up. This will be an important battle throughout the day tomorrow.

Overall Analysis
The victory for the UK in Canada was a break for EDEN, one that they can hopefully capitalize on. It is probably too much to ask for to return Scotland to the UK during this battle, but that should be one of EDEN’s priorities.
Romania remains wiped, and Greece remains exiled to Egypt. The liberation of those nations remains high on the EDEN/Terra list of priorities.
