Congress News

Day 997, 02:27 Published in Netherlands Netherlands by UNL Congress

Dear Congress Members,

A small update in the Congress Newspaper, that has been inactive for a bit too long. Sorry for that!

Closing of inactive debates
You might yourself find wondering what ever happened to the debate you raised on the forum as it's suddenly closed. As soon as I was accepted as Chairman of Congress, I have started with HUGE help* of AndreasIsaksson (former Deputy) and Deviltje (current Deputy) to 'clear up' the Debate Area on the forum, closing all inactive topics. A law accepted one month ago stated that all topics of older than 7 days can be closed if no vote is raised. Therefore, make sure you raise a vote within this timeline, as I'll keep closing old debates from now on to keep the Debate Area a bit neat.

* Actually, they did most of the work. Thanks, guys! 😉

Law Book Restructuring
Second, the law book has a quite unclear structure. I'm working on getting this a bit more structured. Two debates currently going on about that can be found here (Congress Rules) and here (Government Rules). All law concerning the Congress and the Government will be put in one law book each, instead of all different articles spread there.

Other Debates
There are a few other debates going on as well. Make sure to participate in the debate on the UNLIN reform and the Referendum Procedure Change.

Can't access the page the links refer to?
It can be two things: either I messed up the link, or you aren't registered on the forum yet. Make sure that you are registered as Congress Member, as the forum is where all the important things happen! You can find more information here in the newspaper of the Ministry of Interior & Information.

Kind regards,

Boklevski
Your Chairman of Congress
