Calculating damage, influence and how strength and rank affect them

Here I will give you the functions that affect your influence in battle and how all these affect your influence in battle. First I have to explain that the rank is a number taken from the wiki and starts from 2 for Private (Recruits can't battle). Strength is the number from your profile. Simple enough? Let's start:



---The function for influence is:

Influence = ((Rank-1)/20 + 0.3) × ((Strengh/10)+40) (1 + Weapon/100)

Now a simple example to understand it. For a player with Rank Colonel** (36 from wiki), 1300 strength and without weapon the Influence per hit will be:

Influence = ((Rank-1)/20 + 0.3) × ((Strengh/10)+40) (1 + Weapon/100)
= ( (36-1)/20 + 0.3) × ((1300/10)+40) (1 + 0/100)
= (35/20 + 0.3) × (170) (1)
= (1.75 + 0.3) × 170 = 2.05 × 170 = 348.5

So this player will do 348.5 influence per hit!!!



---Now lets see the function that is used when you attack the opponent across you! This is the function:

Damage = (60 + ((Your strength-opponent's strength)/10)) × (1 + (Your weapon-opponent's weapon)/400) / 2

So for an example let's use for opponent Strength 1350 and for weapon q4 (80). The one that attacks will be the same with the previous example! Let's go:

Damage = (60 + ((Your strength-opponent's strength)/10)) × (1 + (Your weapon-opponent's weapon)/400) / 2
= (60 + ((1300-1350)/10))(1 + (0-80)/400) / 2
= (60 + (-50/10))(1 + (-0.2))/2= (55)( 0.8 )/2= 22

So 22 damage per hit!



---Now a difficult one! How does the influence evolve per strength acquired? We will find out. The influence function is:

Influence = ((Rank-1)/20 + 0.3) × ((Strengh/10)+40) (1 + Weapon/100)

We don’t need the last part about the weapon. Any calculation is with no weapon so it will be 1 and it does not affect the result. So:

Influence = ((Rank-1)/20 + 0.3) × ((Strengh/10)+40)

Now the example to find out what we need! Here we will use a player with Rank Private and strength 10. Lets see what influence he does:

Influence = ((Rank-1)/20 + 0.3) × ((Strengh/10)+40)
= ((2-1)/20 + 0,3) × ((10/10)+40)
= (1/20 + 0.3) × (1 + 40)= (0.05 + 0.3) × (41) = 0.35×41= 14,35

Now again the same with one strength more:

Influence = ((Rank-1)/20 + 0.3) × ((Strengh/10)+40)
= ((2-1)/20 + 0,3) × ((11/10)+40)
= (1/20 + 0.3) × (1,1 + 40)= (0.05 + 0.3) × (41,1) = 0.35×41,1= 14,385

The difference is what we want:

Influence1 - Influence2 = 14.35 - 14.385 = 0.035

So a Private do 0,035 influence per strength acquired. Its a small amount but don’t forget its a small rank (the smallest that can fight!). This process is a little big and boring so I made an easier one. This function is quicker and it doesn’t require the strength of the player!!! Here it is:

Influence per Strength = 0,03 ((Rank - 1)*0,005)

Easy enough! You can see here that the influence is heavily affected by the rank!



---The last (but not least) is how much strength is needed for the influence to raise by one. Lets see the function:

Influence (here we will put 1 because we want only 1 in this one) = Influence per Strength * Amount of Strength needed to add one more Influence
1 = IpS * AoS ===> To simplify things
AoS= 1 / IpS

Lets see now an example! We will use again the Private! For IpS we will use the previous calculated 0.035 that we found! So:

AoS= 1 / IpS = 1 / 0,035 = 28,57

We know now that a private needs 28,5 strength to raise the influence by one more! Its very much but think that its the smallest Rank! For a Field Marshal is only 4.25 strength for 1 influence!
