Bringing Sexy back!

Oh eRepublik. You and I have had a love hate relationship over the nearly 5 years we’ve been together. We’ve broken up and have fought. You have stolen hard earned money from my purse all in the pursuit of making this game… better? Maybe. People have come and gone. I’ve lost friends. I’ve lost enemies. There are those who disappeared from my eLife without a trace which makes me a sad Tiacha. But one thing has always been constant over the past 5 years: The Federalist Party: my one true love.

I was there from the beginning, back in October 2008. We were a little start up. We were the underdogs. We were the 1 in 100. But as time went on, we had the tenacity, the fight, and the courage to fight up the ladder and into relevance on the eUS political scene. I’ve witnessed our trials and tribulations. I’ve fought to keep us away from the dirty clutches of the Nationalist Party, those who called us “Butthurt Hater Trolls”, and Michele Bachmann’s biggest fan . I’ve seen leadership come and go. I’ve seen 3 different versions of the forum, I was your first Congress critter, and was the mentor to our first Federalist President. But I’m here to tell you why none of that matters.



A long time ago, a person we all know and love, kicked me in the butt. She kicked me in the butt good cause I didn’t do my job to the best of my ability. It was February 2010. I was political director under PP Kyle321n . (RIP) We only got 2 Congress critters elected that month. It was disappointing, an embarrassment, but also a wake up call. Fingerguns called me out for it. She told me I couldn’t rely on my reputation alone when it came to being in a leadership position. I realized up until then, I was relying on what I did in the past, rather than putting the work in every time I did something in this game. Since then, I’ve tried to dedicate 110% into everything I do, not only in this game, but in my life. It was the kick in the butt I needed to turn around how I work on projects, not only in this game, but in my personal big picture.

Since then, I’ve done many things in this game. I will not bore you with the details, but major highlights include:

-Reworking the whole eUS Military supply system going into v2.
-Being XO of the Marines going into v2 and Commandant from last September 2012 until this February 2013.
- COS of the Feds for two months in which I made sure we always were on task. I think our FPDB were the most efficient they were during those times then they have been in months. This included keeping the Feds organized under Gnilraps.
-Keeping Congress organized last month as Speaker.
-Starting up SHIELD and leading it up from the ground

But why should what I do matter? Pfeiffer will say I’ve done shit. And you know what, he’s probably right. Why does it matter what I’ve done or haven’t done in the past. Who cares? I’m just an old player rambling on about this, that, and the past. Its all irrelevant, yes?



I believe that when a party becomes stagnant, its time to go back to the roots of what made it great. For a few months now, the Federalist Party has felt: boring. We’ve been going through all the motions, doing the right things, yet not growing. I believe we’ve become complacent: afraid of not only change, but of being a voice that dares to speak the truth, or to make the wake up call we need.

So what do we do when this happens: Find a leader who’s willing to not only lead, but to be the active voice of change. I believe I’m that person, this month to lead the Federalists. I’m willing to take my 5 years of watching, experiencing, and doing, and apply that knowledge to make the changes needed for us to stop the lethargic zombie state of being we’ve entered, no pun intended. How are you going to do this T? Tell us how? One word, efficiency. Examples you say?

-Getting the right people, in the right roles. We all have our strengths and weaknesses. This past month we’ve been overstaffed in some places, but understaffed in others. This has lead some new players to believe that the Feds don’t want them involved. And then they walk. This cannot be the case anymore. We’ve done a great job at recruiting but a shitty job of getting active new players involved and feeling like they belong.

-Overhaul of Fed Radio. This is a work in progress already, but with our move to Radiostaronline.net, I feel we will have a better program, with less interruptions, and more fun.



- Better media. This month media has been scattered. The same thing has been published in multiple places at once. While at other times, the info hasn’t gotten out there. This will change so that all info gets to all members faster. This also included more media about SHIELD.

-Faster FBI checks. This has been another thing lacking for months is our forum security turn around time. The faster we can get new Federalist involved, the more likely they will stay with us and get involved. I want to make sure check times happen and new Feds cycle every 10 days after each election.

-A new Federalist Congress Critter guide. We have a Federalist Whip, Molly Emma. She does a fine job and is essential to the success of every new Fed Congress critter. But it will be my goal to get out a guide from the Fed Education department on the rules each new Congress critter should abide by. That way, before new players apply to be Congress critters, they will know the expectations party leadership has of them. And thus, when we pick Congress people, we know that they will be the best of the best.

- Fed Tech department. I will go out and say this before I get called on it: this is an AMP idea and kudos to them for it. But I will be trying my damn hardest to find a coder to work exclusively for the Federalist Party. That’s one thing we’ve always been lacking on: is a coder who knows how to manipulate the API the party’s advantage. We are always begging others for help. This shouldn’t happen if we are going to be efficient. So, if I need to pay one, abduct one, or bribe my husband into doing it, by God, we are getting a Federalist exclusive coder.

-More interparty fun--- I will work with other parties to set up competitions so we can prove not only on the battlefield, but in UNO and trivia, that the Feds are p/h.

-Continued work with DHS to help with ATO and bringing the downfall of the AFA.

Ya’ll may love me. You may hate me. But by God, I love the Feds. And one thing is for certain, I will give you my 110% in leadership, organization, efficiency, and communication to make our community the best community in eRepublik. So, vote for Tiacha for Federalist PP this month, and I will bring Sexy Back to the Federalist Party.
