Breaking News: Peace In North America

Washington, D.C.- Within the past hour the presidents of both the United States and Canada have reached a peace agreement on the war or at least a ceasefire that would span the length of three months. This arrangement comes on the first day that U.S. states are under attack from Canadians. The U.S. enjoyed early control of this war but when the Canadians got aid from the Swedes they were able to push the Americans back to Manitoba. The Pakistanis soon came to the aid of the U.S. and helped beat up the Canadians in Manitoba but in the end the Canadians regained control of the province. With the aid of two stronger powers the North American War quickly became a stalemate with neither side holding a decisive advantage over the others as the Canadians were too beat up from retaking Manitoba to take Minnesota or North Dakota.
So as of Today April 26th the longest war in Erepublik history has drawn to a close, here is its legacy.
1.Canadian Capital moved to Iqaulit in the northwest territories.
2.Canadian Economy jump started with Swedish aid.
3.American economy enters a recession
4.Kinks in the war module discovered
5.Guaranteed peace between the two nations until July 28th
Here are the official terms as posted by John Wilkmot and signed by Nave Saikiliha and Faltnor.
The Following is an agreement between the countries of Canada and the USA (United States of America)
The Countries of Canada (represented by president faltnor) and the country of USA (represented by Nave Saikiliah) agree to the following terms
1) A 3 month NAP (Non-Agression Pact) shall be put in. This means that neither the USA or Canada can attack each other for exactly 3 months from the day this contract becomes vaild. This NAP shall not restrict each of the countries MPP's in any way.
2) Canada and the USA can not give any funds, soldiers
or militiary aid to any country attacking the USA or Canada.
3) Faltnor or Nave agree to propose a peace proposal with no gold included in the deal. If gold is included it must be given back to the Country.
Breaking terms A or B will result in a 500 gold fine to the breaker of the rule.
This deal becomes legally binding when both Faltnor and Nave Saikiliah sign it.

DesertFalcon give it up. Vyse is right. This war came out to be quite pointless, from both sides. The difference between those wars you listed was that someone actually won. Or gained something or someone. Our war on the other hand, we gained nothing and it even had a negative effect on our country.
King Wassem you are right that in the end the war did turn out to be pointless since there were no gains. I misinterpreted what Vyse said and thought he was referring to the reasoning behind launching the war.

Umm.. actually, the Canadian economy is in a lot more trouble than the American one. We had our 5 day recession and survived.

Our economy is slowly recovering but Canada\'s took alot less of a beating during the war since their productivity did not take a hit as much since we were on the offensive more.

A message to actually honorable Americans. Vote this kid out of office so our two countries can actually have diplomatic dialog and perhaps some true, equal partnerships.
The war is over, let us both put the past behind us and move on hopefully with fresh blood running things in both countries.

Heh, if you take Nave out of office and put an average American in his place... 1 of 2 things happens;
1) we become an evil empire and take over the world, OR
2) The country becomes completely uninhabitable and eUSA ceases to exist.
I believe Nave did a great job, but every president is criticized for things beyond their control.
