Beating back the bots

join us today! Together we are better!

Here at The 506 we take pride in the eAmerican way. Hard work, warm bodies, big guns, and faithfully waving the flag. And pie. I mean, obviously pie. Who doesn’t love pie? I feel like I have said pie a lot. Is there such a thing as too much pie?

Well, anyway… Onwards!

So yeah, I am here today to talk to you a little bit more about something we take very seriously here at The 506.

Bots.

The 506, while not all of us explicitly hate bots, they are a recognized problem and that is actively acknowledged by leadership. The 506 was founded on the belief of country over party, so we strive in holding up the ideals of the eUSA. One such ideal is that bots are less than human (the reality of that situation is not a discussion to have here). However, in that vein, the eUSA currently has a law on the books that strictly penalizes parties that knowingly harbor bots within their party. This can lead to sanctions against the party.
The theories behind this law can, in many lights, be considered noble. Like the case to be made that bots should take every effort to transition to true sentience before entering into politics.

Noble? Sure. A non-sentient being is much likelier to vote strictly upon party lines, and without any research into the causes at hand. This stems from their general lack of agency, which is a well-established trend within the bot community. Therefore the vote becomes merely another electronic watermark to unfairly press forward the agenda of a small subset of people
(thot-masters bot-masters). It could also be argued that this is, in fact, how parties work in the first place, and that most voters take little to no time apprising themselves of the issues at hand or the intentions of their elected officials.

That’s neither here, nor there.

The important part here is that The 506 is 100% eLaw compliant. Lawmakers spoke, and we listened. The 506 is very much about the needs of the country over the needs of the party. Upon ratification of said eLaw, the party put its members through extensive testing
(as seen below) to ensure that only humans inhabit our numbers.

It remains to be seen if other parties are held to the same standard.
(as of writing, no other parties have asked to borrow our Voight-Kampff Machine)

(As seen above, a suspected bot is being tested for true sentience with a Voight-Kampff Machine. The device operates by assessing a subject's stress patterns while being asked a series of standardized questions. The object here is to discern whether the subject responds in pre-programmed and/or other aberrant variations to the questions asked, that would be indicative of an artificial intelligence or other form of bot. A replicant bot will inevitably fail this testing.)

When members fail these exhaustingly stringent testing measures, they find their bot-asses exiled from the party, forever doomed to drift throughout the dismal wasteland that is the eUSA when one doesn’t have a political party to love them.

A fate worse than death.

However, it is a necessary action to stay compliant with current eUSA regulations. The 506 is, as is EZC, one with the eUSA. We serve the needs of our country, as they are our needs too.

Just us on the journey to a better tomorrow. Join The 506.
