I wasn’t planning on writing anything else today. But circumstances drastically changed when I got a shout from Senator Woxan (AAP-NV) saying “CONGRESS: VOTE NO ON THE DONATION”. I am not in Congress and it was my first indication there was a problem going on…

Today at approximately 15:30 server time, Congressman Robert S. Miller (UIP-OK) proposed a donation to Fort Knox FederaI Reserve. It seemed reasonable enough and had been quickly approved for voting and earned 20+ votes right away. But all is not what it seemed…

Fort Knox FederaI Reserve, where our money was being sent, was a fake. The real Fort Knox Federal Reserve has lots of money. But the organization where $99,999 of eAmerican tax dollars was headed to, the Fort Knox FederaI Reserve, was a fake! There is no money in that organization. Robert S. Miller had created this fake org, switching out the lower case “L” in Federal with an upper case “i”. And no one was the wiser…

We were being robbed by Miller in a really sleazy and underhanded plot. He would have gotten away with it except for a couple people that deserve to be recognized. Vice-Commandant of the eUSMC Lucius Varenus was the first to alert the President and it was also quickly noticed by French Minister of Foreign Affairs, Mv13 who posted on the eRep Forums. Both of them sounded the alarm and helped prevent this massive fraud. Both of these men deserve a special THANK YOU from all eAmericans!

As of this writing, Robert S. Miller has been permabanned, his fake organization has been permabanned and the admins have agreed to suspend the proposal so no money will be lost.

In addition, I also want to thank Joe DaSmoe for working hard to get the word of this diabolical fraud out very quickly and helping get the admins to ban Robert S. Miller and his fake org.

I have sent personal THANK YOU’s to these people. If you agree with me that they’ve done a great thing helping stop a cheater from stealing money from the eUSA and all eAmericans, feel free to send them a personal THANK YOU note too.

In addition, I’d like to say thanks the Admins who were able to step in and right a complete wrong. I know they get a lot of flack from players for a lack of attention, but they really helped us all out today. So if you feel like giving them some props, send them some nice FEEDBACK. They’d probably wouldn’t mind getting a few PM’s that weren’t complaints. 😉

And thanks for everyone who got involved by sending tickets to the admins or spread the word via IRC, forum or PM. Justice was done today…

EDIT: Also as an aside, the last shout by Robert S. Miller, right around the time he sent the fraud proposal to Congress for a vote was… a YouTube link to a music video for “Smooth Criminal” by Michael Jackson. Nice. Way to rub it in, Miller. Good thing you just got permabanned.
