10 years of what

Ten years...it's been ten years...of playing and joining this game called eRepublik... It was an hour like this (nearly 16:30 GMT +2) when I registered at the game, just 2 hours after I returned home from Nafpaktos due to the national holiday. I was 18 back then, just started the second semester in university.

Thiz is the day, of closing 10 years of learning and interacting, while also having ups and down mentally by dealing with shootfeckeries coming both from the game and the community. Since 2011, I have modified my character quite some times, due to both the game and the university which was occurring at the same time.

I've made many friends and few enemies (some of which without even interacting with them somehow).
- My first group of friends was in the first two years, mainly due to the political engagement. And these years were the most active ones, due to being a new player liking stuff 😛.
- Later, the next main group of friends came at about 2014-2015 which started first by the MU engagement and from there to the political aspect once again, and it lasted for quite few years.
- Simultaneously, I was opening a lot my interaction with non-Greek players, through e-Eurovision and Clopocrew.
- After that, there was a slow down at 2019 due to my military service. I was still logging in during that time, but didn't have much interaction besides spamming the feeds with my almost everyday trips in Athens XD.
- Towards the end of 2019, the third wave of interaction started due to Rabbit of Caerbannog, which helped me a lot mentally to keep playing the game.
- And this brings us to 2021, which introduced for me 2 CP terms, for what it seems so far to be my maxed out involvement with the political and military aspect, and the first time I was interacting so much with an alliance :d. Not even with EDEN so much :d.

eRepublik always has been my main way of interacting with people on the Internet, even when the pandemic appeared and the lockdowns were initiating. It always felt like a safe place to write about things, even when I was not supposed to.

This article may be small for what it represents, but I guess it's preferable to be simple and on focus rather than documenting the full timeline of what I have seen and done in this game. Like most others, I also have knowledge of secret and prohibited stuff of the game :d.
In a later article, I will upload several screenshots (only if they are safe, meaning there's something too secret) from what I have in my archives. Of course most stuff will be in Greek. There will be serious and funny ones. I couldn't do it now so just stick with this plain wall of text xd.

I always tried to be serious in this game and also have fun every now and then, because that's I was, before people drive me crazy and start to not care or not deal that much about most things happening.... Not to mention the treatment from the game itself which has also been a mix of ups and downs. But in the end, even though for years now there's the though of leaving the game, now this comes again stronger and stronger. What will the near future bring to what we have now?

Still though, thank you anyone, from the very beginning of the game till the current active people, for everything we have done and said, exchanged and believed, fighting and supporting. How much can we try to keep the contact outside of this game?
