[Vice President] Finding Footing
Aeriadne
What started as me just coming back and begging Krapis to let me write Press Briefings - which I am proud to say I have successfully done daily for two weeks straight! - rapidly turned into me gaining cabinet access and becoming not only Vice President of the country, but also the new Vice Party President of the Federalists. Sometimes, it takes me a while to get back into the groove, and sometimes - like last time - I never find it or get knocked out.
But I feel safe in saying: I'm gonna be here for a while now, friends.
So, what does that mean?
Well, it mostly means finding my footing. I have a good thing going with the Press Briefings, and I feel pretty active in government. This is mostly due to the complete lack of responsibility the Vice Presidency affords a person. As Krapis said to me "It is what you make of it."
And I like to think I've started to take a couple more steady steps towards trying to fully come back and reintegrate here for a while. If that worries you, don't fret: I have no intentions of hurtful shenanigans of the variety I used to pull. My presence here is helping me steady myself IRL. It might not be a healthy coping mechanism, but it's a successful one. And in this, the year of 2020, we take those.
So.
Baby steps.
First of all, you'll be getting more articles in game from me, though I'd love to see you in the press briefings I write, those I put a lot of effort into.
Second off, I'm going to be running for Congress this month. I was hesitant to do so when Fed leadership recommended it because Congress kind of brings out the worst of me (and other people lol), but I figure if I can navigate past my baser congressional mischief impulses, I'll have proved something to myself.
I'll have proven that, in some small measurable way, I'm a different person than I was.
So!
Here's to a new me. Here's to baby steps. And here's to you, America. Your government has some great things in store. I hope you'll stay awhile and enjoy the ride.
Stay frosty, friends.

it is good to have you back
Glad you be able to play with you
Good luck Aramec. You're kind of a good nut.
It's probably not the least healthy coping mechanism either, whatever works. Good luck!
Staying Sandy thanks
