[USWP] Party President, Guess who.

Day 3,036, 11:05 Published in USA USA by Malpazar

Good evening ladies and gentlemen, I am writing to you today to officially announce my successful nomination bid to be the next Party President of the United States Workers Party.
The role of Party President is in my opinion the second most important elected role a citizen can have. Where congress in this game seems to serve as a more flexible way for people to get involved in politics, the Party President position serves as a smaller executive branch without the cabinet to back you up. There it is one of the more important positions.

Goals

I would like to take this opportunity to go over some of the goals I have planned for my short stint as Party President.

1. I would like to keep turnout in congressional elections high. While we are currently the 3rd highest population party we have roughly 135 people in the party. Last congressional election we had 105 votes, while these may not all be USWP party members if it is a perfect world, (lets face it, USWP is perfect) that means we had 105 people of the 135 vote. That is pretty da*n good turnout I want to keep it that way.

2. I want to encourage more people to sign up on the eusa forums and get more involved in party conversations on the USWP section. A strong community on the forums can really help engage our party base and encourage active participation both in-game and in the games meta.

3. I want to encourage people to sit down and actually write stuff again. This is a pretty simple way to spice things up in the community, and I will be offering prizes to those who write the best article for the USWP. It can be recruitment, an endorsement article (President), or even congressional announcement pieces. I want to revitalize USWP media to the powerhouse I know we can be.

I hope this is a good month for USWP and if everything goes right with me as your Party President we can work together to accomplish these goals.

Thank you for your time, and keep trucking on.
