[Statistics]Resources Available for each Alliance - Week07

Today I'll do an exercise with the leftovers of the data I gathered for the previous articles.

Based on the resources of each country, I was able to map the amount of resources for the corresponding Alliance.

The maps below are from the eRepublik World Map with the distribution of each Resource.


Fish is the resource more abundant in the eRepublik. There are currently 91 regions with this resource. This resource is widespread accross the globe along the coast lines.



The distribution of Fish is clearly not something that goes into the tables of the average ONE countries, currently. Only 10% of the overall Fish Resource belongs to the alliances associated with ONE.


Grain is a resource that is spread around the globe, although from the original regions of ONE or Pro-One countries only Poland, Lithuania, Slovakia and Venezuela had it. There are currently 62 regions with Grain.


The Grain Resource didn't change that much from the original owners. Currently the TEDEN countries control 82% of this resource.


Fruits are almost a West thing according to eRepublik (with some good exceptions like Iran which has so many). The distribution of this resource in the original regions is relatively even between the two big Alliances. There are currently 81 regions with Fruits.


The TEDEN alliance has gained a lot of this resource mainly through the Fruits Regions of Iran. It is one of the most ballanced resources between the two big alliances and a small change in the course of the war can reshuffle the scenario above. Currently TEDEN countries control 77% of this resource.


Cattle is abundant accross the globe but mostly in China, USA and India, which represents roughly 50% of the total original regions. The TEDEN has a clear edge on this resource. There are currently 77 regions with Cattle.


The ONE Alliance has, currently, very few regions of this resource. Only 9% of the total Cattle Regions are in the hands of ONE.


Deer is the more scarce food resource, although it is fairly distributed for both sides in comparison to the other resources. There are 27 regions with Deer.


Since this is a resource so rare, it is only fitting that the spoils are divided only between the two big alliances. The balance is also even and only a few regions with Deer had swap from the original owners. The balance is: 78% from TEDEN have this resource.


Iron is the first Weapons Resource, it's the most abundant and fairly distributed across the eWorld Map. There is no country that stands out with this resource originally. There are currently 64 regions with Iron.


A particular country stands out in the struggle to get Iron, Argentina with its 5 regions, gives an impression that they are struggling to get as many iron as they can get. Regarding the Alliances this is the resource which has the biggest equilibrium although the balance once more is favorable towards TEDEN, with 73% of the iron Regions.


Saltpetter is a rare resource and one to fight wars over it. The distribution of Saltpetter is fairly distributed accross the two Big Alliances in the original Regions. There are 23 regions with Saltpetter.


As mentioned before there are many wars fought over this resource. The ONE members have clearly lost most of the regions with Saltpetter. The balance is 91% to TEDEN.


Aluminum is a resource that exists mostly in Europe and North America. Germany and USA have more than 25% of the original regions with this resource. There are 47 regions with Aluminum.


Alluminum is a clear resource for TERRA members, with 40% of the regions. Overall in the Big Alliances Contest, the TEDEN has 79% of all regions with this resource.


Oil is a resource scattered a bit around the eWorld. It is fairly balanced concerning the big alliances in the original regions. There are 35 regions with Oil.


But everyone knows this in RL as well in eRepublik, many wars are fought over Oil. In here the upper hand goes to TEDEN, with a swooping 94% of the regions.


Rubber is the scarcest resource in eRepublik. Only 9 countries have this resource originally and 4 of them are from the ONE Big Alliance. There are 14 regions with Rubber.


TEDEN has won this specific war resource, currently. Only 2 countries aligned with ONE have this resource.


And that's all folks. This is the last article of this series concerning the data from this week. This article was just for fun, since the mechanics of the game doesn't allow you to extrapolate too much on the distribution of the resources. Any update to this statistics concerning the distribution of resources will be done at bigger interval, maybe monthly.

Next Week I'll update the rankings fresh after the congress elections.
