Hangover permitting - ere's yer semi-regular update;


The NE failed to reach 66% and has been rejected (25-13).

The Irish NE has however been accepted (19-4).

From discussions with their CP it looks like Croatia will indeed try and block them off to avoid a committed campaign. That said; they're potentially interested in a fight of sorts if we can actually manage to arrange one properly our end.


The partially sober may've guessed from the recent potato famine fallout our CP MIK has been baited into NE'ing Ireland. At the time of writing it is exactly on the 66% needed to pass with 12 hrs to go (and 8 votes left).

Given MIK will likely resume doing nothing and the new players he signed up for the MoD certainly aren’t going to rise to it – it looks like Congress themselves will have to prosecute the war they may sign up to; at least until the next election or if we're not simply blocked off.

It does not take much of a military thinker to appraise our current situation as fairly vulnerable across the board. But for the first time under MIK’s democracy things are interesting, at least. I will post an update when the vote is over and we know where we stand.

Other than Wookie’s 400k donation proposal to help fund the potential war effort we had another round of aircraft weps tax with Orly Levy Abekasis; currently looking at rejection on 11-23.

There have been no citizenship requests since Blackbeard was accepted under Alfag (17 Aug).
