[SFP] Cerb for Party President

Day 3,219, 06:21 Published in USA USA by Cerb

Cerb is running for SFP Party President.

Fellow citizens,

I seek your vote for the Party President election being held THIS WEEK on SEPTEMBER 15th. I do this not for myself, but for the betterment of the party and to champion our members' ability to participate in this political simulator.

Who am I?

These sections are always incredibly self-aggrandizing, but suffice it to say that I have the sort of resume you'd want for this job. Consistent with the platform of the SFP, I have always championed great overhauls and significant reform of eUS policy, such that my name is often spoken alongside other revolutionaries like Josh Frost, James S. T. Pfeiffer, and Vanek26.

I am a former country president of this nation and others. I have served in Congress in this nation and others. I have used my influence to rewrite and redraw domestic and foreign policy, always with the goal of inspiring the players of this game.

I have been Party President and Country President. I know the jobs.

I have started new military units, led new foreign policy, and reoriented political parties. I can help the SFP be better, do greater things.

Why do I want to run?

I have enormous respect for many members of the existing SFP leadership (how many readers are actually aware it's called the Revolutionary Committee?). However, I think at some point, the SFP became what it despised. Structurally, it features a board of executives who make the decisions for everyone else, with no input from the rank-and-file. It also runs members for Congress based on off-site forum participation, and not even the primary eUSAforums, but a separate, sparsely-used forumotion site.

The party has also moved away from the vision of Civil Anarchy. I know this because I was a great friend of his, and because I remain so. The SFP has morphed from a 'fight for the worker' focus toward a 'fight against everything' focus, and this is wrong. We shouldn't be oppositional for opposition's sake. We should oppose those measures which suppress participation and working-class opportunities.

What do I want to do?

I will begin with a party-wide survey of the membership, assessing members' values and goals. What do YOU want? Why are YOU here? What would make YOU play more often?

I will leave no stone unturned and all options will be on the table. Where will we go from here? What will we become? What changes will we cause?

These are questions for YOU, the member of SFP, the player frustrated with the status quo.

P.S. Once I review those changes, I'm going to implement the changes YOU want.

Thank you for your time and consideration.

Vote Cerb for PP on September 15th to see change worthy of the SFP's history.
