[SAGP] Join Us, Late CP Election Result, & the PP Race

Day 2,029, 00:14 Published in South Africa Netherlands by lancer450

Hello fellow eSouth Africans and fellow SAGP’ers,

I apologise for my inactiveness the past week and a half. I was busy with RL and schoolwork which made it very difficult to be able to publish more and stay up-to-date with everything going on with the party and the nation. Hopefully I will be able to finish out this month strong. 🙂 So here’s a little update.

Why join the SAGP?

We don’t have decisions made “behind closed doors” as some might say. Instead, we favour a transparent approach to party governance through direct involvement with our members. This month, Wilpanzer sent out messages to our members in which we had the opportunity to hear directly from him what his plans are and ask for input from everyone who is willing to partake. Here at the SAGP, your age, strength, wealth, etc. are not what matters. Anybody can thrive in the SAGP with commitment, activity, and a desire to succeed. The SAGP is a party that is unwavering in our support of active new players and is resolute in giving them a chance to get involved whilst also giving older players, with the same dedication and commitment, the very same opportunity. The SAGP is a party of fairness and is devoted to giving everyone a shot. So if you’re looking for a party, if you’re looking for a community, come join the SAGP!

Late CP Election Result

On the 5th of June, we had the monthly presidential election. The two candidates this month were our very own Cody Caine and the Independent Alternative's Miyagiyoda. It was a hard fought campaign in which both candidates presented their respective platforms to the community. We, at the SAGP, feel we ran a great campaign and are proud of how Cody Caine directed his campaign. A total of 134 votes were cast on election day and, sadly, Cody Caine was not so lucky this month. He received a total of 53 votes or approximately 39.55% of the vote. On the other hand, Miyagiyoda received 81 votes or 60.45% of the vote. Both candidates campaigned on bringing change. We shall see if, with this mandate, Miyagiyoda is able to deliver what he promised. We sincerely congratulate Miyagiyoda on his victory and wish him luck and hope he has a successful month as CP.

SAGP PP Election

Wilpanzer’s term as party president of the SAGP is coming to an end in a few days, which means the party president elections are very near. I personally would like to thank Wilpanzer for his hard work over the past month along with the rest of the party cabinet and I wish whomever the next party president is good luck. For those who wish to run for PP, please make yourself known and active within the community. Articles and communication with the party is a must. Engagement with the party membership is necessary. Throw some ideas out there. Have a say in what our party stands for! So if you want to help out or if you want to give it a go, step up and help to bring about the revolution that is so often talked about!

Once again, thanks to Wilpanzer, Cody Caine, the rest of the party cabinet, and also to our SAGP congressman for their work representing our party so well over the course of this term.

Hail the SAGP!
Hail eSouth Africa!

Regards,

SAGP Spokesman
